After the ending... What is there to do?

God the excuses that people are making for this game:
"Please explain to me how a cult of ghouls trying to fly to the moon is not a complete slap to the face to Fallout lore."

"You people are so pathetic. The game sucks in some places, sure, but you're acting like it's the worst game in the world. Fucking whiny brats, grow the fuck up."

Amazing.

When did they say they were flying to the moon? They're heading to the Far Beyond. Makes sense to me. If I had access to rockets I'd want to get as far away from almost any part of the Fallout universe. Yeah I'd probably end up in just another shithole, but hey it was worth a try.

They're aim was anywhere far from the Mojave. They probably thought that beyond the chaos of the Mojave and America was some better place.

Exactly my point. I'm questioning the guy RangerBoo quoted. What's wrong with wanting to leave the Mojave? It ain't exactly a paradise. The game just presented this exodus in a dramatic and memorable fashion.

Yeah I responded to the guy and he called me a cuntstain. Lovely. And all for calling Fallout 4 a disappointing and mediocre pile of dung. He also thinks Fisto in New Vegas is lore breaking. WTF Beth fanboys!? He also just deleted his comments too. Everyone was calling him out for being a jackass.

Specially if you're a ghoul, those are discriminated anywhere in the wastes.

I always just figured they were going to Hawaii. Since the war was between the U.S. and China, and Hawaii is the main anchorage for the U.S. Pacific fleet, I imagine it would have bee nuked to all hell in the initial exchange in the Great War. So it would be pretty ideal for ghouls who, assuming they could find enough to eat (back then, ghouls needed to eat), wouldn't have to put up with hatred or discrimination from non-ghouls. Plus you're on an island so it's not like assholes are just going to show up in boats.

I mean, the second stage of an ICBM is sub-orbital spaceflight, so the same sorts of rockets that you use to launch stuff into space could be used to launch stuff far away at earth.

I doubt they know about Hawaii...

Why wouldn't the ghouls know about Hawaii? They were around before the war started. I always figgered they were going into space, though.

I understand wanting to finish all the side quests and everything if you complete the main story but I thought NV handled it perfectly by sending you back to the moment before going to hoover dam

I just realized. It's entirely they go to space, due to very little changes of the navigational flight plan during the quest. This means that it will probably go the original planned route into space.
