I don't think Bethesda likes it when modders ask for money in order to make mods; they took down a kickstarter for a Fallout 1 nude mod and I don't really see the difference between that and a translation for Fallout of Nevada. Luckily there's quite a large Fallout-Russian fan base, so maybe a team will form someday.
A fallout nude mod? What?

Good thing it was taken down.

To be honest a nude mod for the older Fallout games would be handy for those parts where the character can have sex with NPCs and they + the NPC just appear fully dressed sleeping on the bed (particularly in Fallout 2 when we can sleep with Leslie Anne Bishop and/or Angela Bishop) specially since the game even has the small detail of removing the equipped player's armor.

:lmao: Doesn't this look silly:

I seem to remember waking up in a bed next to Mrs. Bishop in full Advanced Power Armor, though I had the RP patch installed, so that could've been it.

I might be remembering it wrong though, my memory is really really bad so I never know  but I really thought it un-equips the armors.

Hey clothed sex is a neat fetish.

I would still prefer not clothed sex specially when they end up sleeping with their shoes still on and fully clothed without even anything unzipped or out of place :lmao:.

Yeah I am just posting because I am bored :aiee:.

Maybe the bishops are huge into dryhumping?

If I had a penny for every good Fallout game, none of said pennies would be made by Bethesda. Still tough call between FNV and FO2. Will probably change my mind in like a month.

I was kind of stuck but I decided to go with Fallout 1. Fallout 2 and New Vegas are great and all, but the former seems a little too distracted at times and the latter suffers from Bethesda's mistakes.

Fallout 1 always impressed me with how coherent it all was; everything fits the context and even when you first meet ghouls and super mutants it feels like they belong. They really worked some magic with that game.

Agreed, the pacing worked and they make a really good air of mystery with the Unity.

Please help me "get into" playing Fallout 1 & 2. I played Fallout 1 after buying it on steam and just never really got into it like I did with New Vegas. I made it to the point where I killed The Master and now I have to destroy the factory, but I haven't touched the game in forever because I could just never get into it. How do I enjoy it? (inb4 "go back to fallout 3 bethesdafag")

There is no trick to it. It seems more like a case where the player is expecting something not offered, and disdaining what is... Kind of like someone [unaccustomed] puking on Vegemite when offered, having expected it to taste like Nutella.

In this case what Bethesda puts out has little semblance to what we know is Fallout. Best "Fallout game" doesn't necessarily always mean "best game", it means best that actually offers up a Fallout gaming experience; Bethesda has their own unrelated critter(s) that they have named "Fallout" games, but they really share little in common, not gameplay, not setting... just vague resemblances... Sadly it's just enough to know how good it could have been ~had they actually been trying to make a Fallout sequel, instead of an OMG-Franken-Shooter for the masses... loosely set in a casually similar post apocalypse.

It's the difference between using real Vanilla, and Vanilla flavoring... Which is the best Vanilla?
[Only one of them IS Vanilla.]

Why exactly are you not feeling it? Is it the turn-based combat that you're not feeling invested in? Is it the hyper-criticals that can be a giant "fuck you go restart"? Is it the dialogue? Is it the world travel taking too long? I mean, you can't really solve any of these things, either they resonate with you or they don't. But maybe it'd be easier to give you a tip or whatever if you elaborated on what exactly is taking your out of the experience.
