Build your own... vault? Wait, what?!

I wonder if they'll even bother to write in a premise for why the fuck anyone would be constructing an entirely new vault 200 years after the war?

The Fallout 4 Vault DLC will almost certainly have you make a water chip, 'tis the end of days.

Yeah but how much out of those bars are just people talking bad about them as opposed to good? Skyrim 2 could just be talked about badly 75% out of the total of that bar.
Well, from this youtube video the rating might be high but most of the comments are criticizing it as being a useless cash grab and unnecessary remastering.
Here's a couple of pro-Remaster comments though:

Bethesda seems to be actively trying to get rid of its old fanbase and replace it entirely with console casuals.
Let's face the truth - only console crowd care about BGS, it's a matter of fact. See Morrowind on Xbox for most plain example. They should replace the fan base in early 00s.

It's a manipulative game they're playing. To be honest, consoles are artificially limited in their performance as they are precisely for this kind of stunt; of course a PS4 player would have waited years to be able to play Skyrim with these kinds of graphics, but that's simply because chose to sell it as a new game instead of updating the old version to run mods.

Regardless of which, I play on a laptop with the computing power of a toaster and I still think this is an unapologetic cash grab; it's not like Skyrim's visuals have aged poorly.

Who the hell has a computer with 16billion gb of ram?
I don't even think NASA and University supercomputers have that much.

In all honesty, it's not even the thought of building my own Vault that I'm against.
If this was a Non-canon, Sims like Mobile and/or PC game where you build your own Vault from there, test on the Vault Dwellers etc, then I would be much happier with that.
It's what Fallout Shelter should have been.

Considering this is Bethesda and it's regarded as Canon (of course it would), it just confuses me.

True, though there are no motherboards on the planet that support that amount of RAM.
Of course, but that was not the point of that comment. It was about the inherent limit of 32bit architecture and its adress space, and how a 64bit architecture has no such problems. Realistically it won't be more than 512GB RAM right now under Windows 10 and probably more under some Linux systems, of course.

Because Fallout is a cartoon now. (and not even a fun one at that)
