Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - 101 Trailer

this is worse than mass effect 3 ending....so much disgrace to the deus ex franchise. i mean, when the trailer first came out back in 2015; it was very good. even more so when e3 2015 gameplay rolls out. i Mean God! look at the new engine, the seamlessness of the dialogue. Lel, the only way SE could redempt themselves is just release the remastered version of Deus ex 1

Revision is not enough? It's good enough to be called a remaster. It is released on the same old Unreal Engine after all.

Judging from available info, MD has some ideas and design decisions taken directly from DX:2027, a mod by russians came the same time DX:HR did.

About the hubs. It's not like DX1 had much to offer. New Yourk could count because it shows up several times in the story meaning it's pretty big on content in other way but Hong Kong, let's be honest, is just a story part passing by. And Paris is a small tiny-dick dogshit of a hub.

Well I called it, I knew this would be a turd it's AAA gaming in a nutshell from popamole revolution to popamole divided.

Well after their "Augment your pre-order" bollocks it makes sense that their business people would find even more ways to nickel and dime consumers. This was the last, best hope I had for the AAA games industry to make something that wasn't a complete disaster. I'll be waiting for release and hoping the game is good still, but this doesn't look good.
Dunno, this half decade is full of shitty titles. AAA one. this will be the last time i buy something from AAA company
The games industry is totally screwed because the consumers are ignorant and easily manipulated. The fanboy phenomenon is depressing to watch - people being transformed into evangelists providing free marketing shills for companies. The worst was the NMS fanboys who didn't even know what the game was about, were never told anything specific about playing the game, knew it was made by a developer with zero experience making such a game, and still somehow became unpaid marketing shills for this scam.

AAA now has new genius strategy - have indie developers make a low-budget, boring indie game and then use their AAA marketing teams to hype the crap out of it and charge a AAA $60 price for it like with No Man's Sky.

Nothing will change because it's simply too easy to get people to "Augment their pre-order." A fool and their money go separate ways, and there's an ocean of fools.

The silver lining here is that there are skilled developers outside AAA that make some wonderful games still, but it's so stupid that AAA games with their enormous budgets produce such mediocre garbage. Deus Ex Mankind Divided could still be good - we will know very soon. If it isn't, I imagine TotalBiscuit will be very happy to make a long video about it because he's a big Deus Ex fan.

This is what business people do for a living. They're really good at it. Just look at No Man's Sky.

So does the game suck? Anyone playing it or is it not out yet?

"Fed up?" More like see the next E3 trailer and pre-order the next Elder Scrolls game for $100 or No Man's Sky 2 for $120.

If gamers were intelligent consumers this wouldn't keep happening. Instead, they're being turned into mouth-frothing fanboys by AAA marketing teams, and will never stop defending a game they now absolutely NOTHING about (see No Man's Sky) and beg for the opportunity to pre-order a game that doesn't exist for $60 or more.

From all the feedback... it seems to be wise to wait for Steam's [-50%, -75%] sales with this one, like with so many other games. How unsurprising.

Hey, the day 'will' come. Just not today. Not like i give a shit how bad triple a games turn out as i aint buying that garbage anyway.

Mankind divided is the book end of Good "chosen one" style protagonist writing. I mean its just the ending that felt unsatisfying, i agree with DeMarle (lead writer of HR); they should just kill jensen rather than let him decay into lame character.

i guess, its cyberpunk 2077 left now.

God, how much does it take to have good AAA in these decade?

Someone should post a review, I loved Human Revolution but wondering if Mankind Divided is going to be the Fallout 4 of the franchise (other than Invisible War I guess).

The same could be said for Human Revolution I suppose. I'm wondering if overall is Mankind Divided worth a buy?

Not defending it or anything, but what AAA game doesn't get "mixed" on Steam these days? I see it both as a good trend, as well as people honestly whining about anything and everything. I'd say 50% of the bad reviews are foor good reasons, the rest come down to bullshit. The same can of course be said about positive reviews. My point is, these ratings say about as much about a game as the Metacritic user scores. It's good that people are becoming more critical, but in the end the gaming media has to do their part as well. And I don't see that happening anytime soon.

CDPROJEKT RED WILL OPEN THE SKIES AND BRING DOWN CYBERPUNK 2077 FROM THE HEAVENS.
OUR LORDS CDPROKET RED WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US WITH THE PROPHETS OF OBSIDIAN (and Inxille if they don't continue to do more shady shit) AND OUR HOLY GOD CHRIST AVELLONE!!!!

Fallout: New Vegas - Overwhelmingly Positive in both Overall and Recent categories.

I agree though - most of those early reviews are people complaining about performance rather than the game itself. Performance for Deus Ex will probably improve after the initial patches, I'm more interested in whether the game is good.

What did inxile do?

What did inxile do?
Got a publisher for Torment so that they could distribute console versions of the game on launch day and because someone over at Codex went and spoiled that bit of info the publisher cancelled the interview that the Codex was going to have with Fargo. Only thing I give a shit about with all of this is the lack of transparency on InXile's part. That was the whole point of the kickstarter, wasn't it? To be honest with the consumers?

They haven't gone into detail what this whole publishing thing or cancellation of the interview is about. That's the issue I have with them. That's the shady shit.

Well, it's not off to a good start.
I only see bashing for technical quirks there. Not a good start but not unique.

Yet, I'm mad too since I have to reload the whole game, the whole 48 gigs, damn.

Though you guys should see this pre-order bollocks coming a mile away since DX:HR (yet the game itself was fantastic) suffered from the same bullshit.
