Back from 2 weeks of travels (vacation). Much needed break from work. Got sick the last day and the long flight back made it worse.

Just wanted to say I'm alive and still thinking of the RP. :)

Any chance to get this baby out for testing in the next few weeks? :P

Speaking of which, how long has Mutants Rising been in development?

Obviously not long enough... But new goodies are on their way. The turret is a MR goodie, not a RP goodie, sorry.

Welcome back, killap. Hope you get well soon. :D

@Pixote
Looks great, will the turret be operable by players?

That's dedication, right there.

Any answers on my curiosity regarding the Race option though? WILL it indeed be skin related, or something entirely different, or just removed altogether?

Hopefully. One thing is for certain, this update NEEDS to be released.

It is indeed skin related. Someday when someone is crazy enough to complete frms for every weapon, etc with different skin tones (black, asian, etc) you'll be able to make use of this.

What does it take to be a beta tester for the updates?

I've been undergoing some serious (and depressing) computer issues recently, so I felt like I had zero chances of participating in any testing phases; but my situation seems to be looking up right now! Assuming I'm not jinxing myself in saying that, play testing the next update would be a dream! =)

PM me and you'll be a beta tester. I fear I may have lost all (or most) of the testers I had lined up, since so much time has past.

Can You integrate in installer other language versions?
That is the eventual plan.

I still need to coordinate with all the translators and see where things are at for the latest release.

Hi
I'm playing RP Mod version 1.2 (I know this is an old version)

and in EPA third floor I found and unhiberneted some person
but when I try to talk with her, she dies.
Is it possible to save her life ?
Computer shows info that I need some medicine but I can't find one.

Why not play on the up-to-date version? You're more likely to receive help.

If you discovered a bug, there is no point of telling anyone as that character has been changed significantly.

Adi please download the latest version, no one has played that version for a few years, and it's considered dead.

Well, I'm probably not gonna go ahead and PM for being a tester. I realized that after my latest format I hadn't re-installed FO2, much less the RP again, so I'd have nothing to compare my playtesting experiences to. Maybe I'd run into some framerate issues (or whatnot), and assume it was part of the new release when in fact the problem is localized to my system. Besides my generally keen eye for typos, which would be fairly objective, I wouldn't wanna pin any bug reports on something that's unique to my side of the program.

I'll still eagerly anticipate its release, however. Who knows, maybe I'll still re-install FO2 and play enough of it in the very-near-future and decide I have enough context to go off of, and still be in time to help test it? I can only hope... =|

@ Adi
Mr Chemmie, the big computer on the purple level can create one dose of the 'medicine' you need.

@ SnapSlav, you don't need to be an expert on Fallout 2 to bug test the RP. No need to compare the two. What you need is to be attentive and to be able to write down any issues in a somewhat intelligible way. You can play it through from start to finish, or just run around and do anything you like, or preferably a mix of that. If you run into a bug that isn't of the spelling kind it's good if you can check if it's reproducible and even better if you can tell how to and add save games with the report.

I also wouldn't worry of "localized" problems, unless it comes down to a faulty install. More likely than not, you are not the only one with a problem. And as long as you provide a save, killap can easily see if it's something reproducible or if it's only on your side.

Shucks, you're just 50 posts too many.....

Erm, what I mean to say... is thanks for the encouragement! I've just been getting really depressed over my PC's problems, and before my latest format, some of those problems WERE affecting FO2's performance (in some of the most retarded ways). I just remembered that, and it sorta felt like since I'm always wary of these issue returning, that if I were to playtest the next release, I might be firing off tons of "bug reports" which would prove to be wild goose chases. But, you've "worked with me" on a couple of my bug reports, so you're the best judge of anyone if my attention to detail is up to par for the RP. If you think I'm "qualified", I guess that's all I'll need... =)
