It doesn't really matter. As long as I know the character and full sentence the typo happened in that should be enough.
Alright. Well, until I re-post them on the VT Labs wiki, what I've collected so far (although I have run into a few more) are on Page 98 of this thread, 14th post from the top. That is, unless you already took care of those, of course.

Hello there. I recently signed up just to tell how much I appreciate the work you lot has put in to make this game become absolutely marvelously fun to play again.

I do however have one thing to report as well.
When I have bought the Dermal/Phoenix upgrades and try to use the Fallout 2 Hintbook (or whatever it is called), my screen goes black and locks the mouse in one place, so I can't use the Task Manager to close the program.

Can someone check if it is something in the game that is still buggy, or if it is just me that sortof fails with my Luckcheck?
Thanks for the job well done, and for reading this.

EDIT: I could provide the savefile before the enhancements if you'd like (and if I knew how to actually do that. Might need instructions).

Then again, it does seem that the game was ultimately colored by the choice to make the Tanker your only method of travel there, because where else were you going to store your rescued tribe in and escape the nuke blast with? Arriving on a single Vertibird certainly does beg the question of how you managed to get the several-hundred Vault 13 Dwellers and Arroyo Villagers OFF of the Rig and to safety in a single trip to escape certain death.

Not necessarily such a big logical conundrum, I think: the Enclave, after all, *are* set up on an oil rig. Maybe there's an oil tanker just sitting there ready to be used by the escaping hero...?

Flies in the face of the game's history to that point of every single thing needing the accomplishment of some task to work, but then that can probably be due to Black Isle running out of time for either implementation or even planning before they finished this part of the game.

This would certainly have neatly solved that particular logical problem *and* made use of the nifty end-of-game tanker animation!

But anyway, the Vertibird path has been removed as killap noted, so no real practical point of discussing what might have been.

My question is why remove the veribird path in the first place? The readme file says there wasn't enough evidence that the Devs intended for there to be a way to fly to the Enclave...but Killap felt there was enough to include it in prior versions, so what changed?

There are three vertibirds in the game--two in Navarro and one in an encounter you get from the Salvatore family (or via a Wright child). This isn't counting the Verti encounter from Gecko or the crashed Verti in Klamath. It seems at least one of them should have been intended for use for something.

So, Killap--any chance of re-emplementing the vertibird method of getting to the Enclave? I think it was fun and suspensful trying to figure out how you were going to hijack the vertibird right in the middle of this sprawling Enclave base--and live to fly the damn thing!

So even with the RP, I STILL can't prevent the Vault 13 deathclaw massacre. Sigh.

I killed Dr. Schreber and everything. I really don't see what else I was supposed to do. Is this a bug?

AFAIK you have to kill him within two weeks after you fixed Vault 13 computer.

That doesn't sound right to me, because the doctor's speech very heavily implies that the raid hasn't happened yet no matter how much time has passed, not to mention it doesn't really make a hell of a lot of sense that visiting Vault 13 would somehow tip off the Enclave, and the game doesn't really give you any indication of it either.

I've never timed it, but is it even possible, following the storyline, to get to Navarro within 2 weeks of activating the computer at V13? Is it even possible to get to Navarro straigh from V13 within 2 weeks?

I assume this won't work if you kill Schreber before going to V13 at all? I THINK I've done this and still had the Enclave kill the deathclaws, but I can't verify because that MAY have been the megamod I did that with.

It's perfectly possible if you have the car. With a fully upgraded car (not the anti-grav plates), it only takes 3 days to Navarro straight from V13. And in many of my playthrough, I killed Schreber before going to V13 and got the "good" ending of it.

I've gone through the wiki and addressed what can be done. I'm going through some other non-wiki reports now.

The Primitive Tribe revamp I mentioned most likely will not happen. Dravean, my lead writer, hasn't been around for a few months, but we'll see if he gets back to me. However, I'm not sure changes like this are a good idea at this point. Yeah it would be great, but I really can't keep pushing this on. I've said this will be the last release and it most likely will, but never say never. There will probably be at least another bug-fix release.

In terms of content, the RP really is done. Massaging the Primitive Tribe was really the last thing on the table. All known pulled content is in the game now (afaik) and I'm not going to go about adding in things that would be cool.

As a heads up though, there will be at least one new quest in RP 2.2. I'd have to look at the change list (the mess that it is) to see what all is new, but the last thing I'm adding is a quest related to "A Shi quest tied in to the EPA, related to the ending where the Shi get their butts kicked by a sentient plant." It'll be pretty simple, but it was pulled content nevertheless.

Since the last RP was released in September, we'll see if I can do it again. 8-)

Wow...I think I'm going to cry. I really loved your work on the RP Killap, and I'm going to miss having new content to look forward too with the new RP versions. I honestly will...

Do you think you will do any other FO2 mods once the RP is done? I think if you wanted to, you could put together a really nice total conversion mod, or some NPC mods; and the work would be quality, top-tier work.

I know I, for one, will miss the great work you've done Killap. Still, only one release left so congrats are in order. So, Congrats :D

Killap, your efforts continue to amaze me.You need to get a job with Obsidian. Thanks for all the countless hours of entertainment you have given me.

Killap, what kind of work do you do in real life?

Also, do you have a way of accepting donations? PayPal?

I'm a software developer.

I've been asked this before and the answer is I never setup such a means. I don't do this for the money, so I never really bothered. However, since I've gotten quite a number of requests, I did mention a bit back that I'd probably silently put up a PayPal link on my site and see what people do.

@Everyone
Things are wrapping up for beta 2 testing. However, I did finally get to looking at a 31 page Word doc (single spaced, with blank lines between each comment/issue) that someone sent me of his playthrough of the RP. I have to say, it's quite an impressive report and something that I wish I received 5 years ago when I was really going at it, but oh well. There are a lot of subjective comments, which while would probably improve the overall game (not just the RP), I'm not going to touch though. I've dwindled down the list to a good 100 or so comments/issues that I will address. Most should be pretty easy to do. What this means though is that I'm not going to get the beta out this week like I was hoping. Sigh, perfectionism...

Eh, rushed releases are what led to FO2's official release being so bug-ridden in the first place! Take your time, it's always worth it! =)

As the old engineering maxim goes, perfect is the enemy of good enough. :) I look forward to replaying Fallout 2 whenever you do finish the next release, Killap. However long that takes, I've got plenty of unplayed games to keep me occupied until then.

My problem isn't that it's impossible, just that the player has no in-universe reason to actually do it. There's no indication that going to Vault 13 will catalyze the attack on it by the Enclave, nor any reason why it should. The player can't see this coming, and has no reason to, and most likely will not go to Navarro that quickly after going to Vault 13. What's worse, no matter when you go to Navarro, Schreber still acts like the attack hasn't happened yet. Considering this and the fact that the bad Vault 13 ending essentially blames you for the attack, and it becomes clear that the only barely-sensible solution is to trigger the attack after going to Navarro and talking to Shreber, not after going to Vault 13.
