Another one - every time I fight Kage after a random amount of turns the game bugs out and crashes, I dunno is it some sort of special animation he has for a action or...?

The movie wasn't that bad. Considering the limited budget they had access to, I can't really blame them for some of the effects being a bit low on quality, but the rest was just plain good fun to watch. :clap:

Sure would be fun to see an entire Fallout-inspired movie, including popcultural referenses etc.
 
There's actually a whole series of those now - Season one is complete and there in the process of making the 2nd one.

I don't get it... there's multiple posts here saying that certain animations are included in RP, but they most certainly are not. Not in the Manual download anyway. Is this intentional, or? :shock:

The manual download does not include armor for NPCs (as well as not including nearly all the extras found in the installer). All the manual version has is the RP content and the Mash's resolution patch.

What Zombieme88 explains sounds an awful lot like a bug I encountered a couple times, myself. It's not location specific, it just happens sometimes. I also couldn't figure out what triggered it, because reloading from an earlier save and making the EXACT same journey (in my case, from New Reno to EPA) would end in me arriving with no further issues. That also made providing a savefile that covered this issue somewhat difficult.

Is there any other knowledge floating around about spontaneous "black screens of death" where the HUD is covered, and using hotkeys to open the menu results in a menu labeled:

I've never experienced it myself. Were both of you using the high res patch at the time?

Yeah, yeah. The good news is that the Primitive Tribe revamp is happening. Large chunks of dialogue reworked. The spirit quest revamped, the well quest altered, and a very minor quest added. Overall, I think it improves the location.

The quest with the Shi and the EPA I had mentioned some pages back is turning out to be a bit more involved than I initially thought up, but it's for the better.
 
Is any part of that revamp taking the renaming suggestion? (The one I saw, and like, at least, was calling them "Humbled", but I supposed there's been more.)

As for the error, I can't speak for him, but I know I WASN'T. I was utilizing the high res options that were included in the installer version of the RP, so I assume that was an SFall feature. I ran into that roughly twice, I think. Maybe a third time or more, but similar only in that I reached a black screen and had to Task Manager close the game, but didn't get the ERROR menu. I never managed to "recreate" them in such a way that a savefile could be produced... =/

Awesome! More depth and detail is appreciated. Will there be a renaming of the Primitive Tribe? "Primitive Tribe" sounds like a preliminary name and the original devs would have given them or their village a proper name in the finished game. After all, Sulik was not named "Primitive Tribal".
 
I don't expect deadlines when people work with coding. It takes what time it takes. It is done when they say it is done, not sooner than that.

I found a version of sfall that is from august 2012 [version 2.19].

Should I install that over F2RP 2.1.2b, or should I wait for the next version of F2RP?

Unless you have an issue that is fixed by the latest sfall, you have no reason to upgrade. It's also more complicated than just copying over the latest files.

You can update the sfall, but you should only use ddraw.dll in the 7z archive, don't overwrite your RP ddraw.ini with "vanilla" ini.
 
Even copying over the appropriate values, updating sfall caused the EPA elevators to stop working for me, so do so at your own risk. You can always downgrade if something like that happens, though.
 
Hi this is my first post. I just downloaded the RP 2.1.2b and it's working fine but whenever I die I get a white blank screen where I can hear the narrator speak of my death but can't see the picture of the dead chosen one. I once read some one else had the problem. I've been searching all day and can't find a solution. Any one help?
