ranger safehouses

I visited some ranger safehouses but upon arrival all the rangers are dead. Is this because I gave the safe house map to Vortis before I killed him for the rangers in NCR?
If so that sucks, the slavers shouldn't be able to use the map if you kill the dude right after giving the map...
 
Torr Missing

Arriving in Klamath,I got the quest to figure out who's rustling the brahmin,then got the quest to guard the brahmin from Torr.

After getting the radscorpion claw,and killing all radscorpions there,I went back to downtown.

There,I ran to the bar and scared the Duntons to stop bullying poor Torr,and told mrs.Buckner that the Duntons were the thieves,showed the proof and completed the quest.

So I thought that Torr would be happy to know that the "bugmen" were the Duntons in disguise,so I went back to his place (in front of Mrs.Buckner house) to look for him.But he wasnt there,and anywhere else in Klamath(even checked the canyon of the crashed vertibird),also nobody mentions anything about his missing,not even his mother...

Any clue?

Maybe he's not missing, just busy watching cows.

I know a quest where you're sent to save him at the vertibird crash canyon,maybe that quest is missing?

Nope, you only get the "save Torr" quest when you help the Dunton's scare off Torr, can't get it if you help him guard the brahmins.
He does thank you though, if you talk to him after killing the scorpions.

At what point will the NPCs begin to gain levels?
Right now I am in Klamath in the rat caves.1 rat (20exp) away from level 4 and it is impossible to make sulik gain a level by loading and shooting the rat again. Tried it atleast 10 times.

Also, now with the expansion Suliks seems more keen to throw his spear when attacking enemies, but that's kind a cool :)
 
I'm not sure if there's a better way to use the search feature, but it seems there's no real way to find what I'm looking for other than looking through 32 pages of this. >.< I'm sure this has been asked before, but...

How do I get into the locked doors in the green room of the EPA?
 
Oh by the way guys, I'd like to contribute a little something. I've noticed that some of you are like me and don't tag the lockpick skill, therefore we use the dynamite on the door to the car part in trapper town in Klamath. I have a better solution, though I haven't tried it myself, but I've done this before on other doors.

Steal a motolov cocktail from the beggar near the bar and use it on the door, and the dynamite on the pillar. There's also one in the Duntons' house, but I usually use the first motolov to get to the shelf with that one, and that one on the door to the radio in Vic's house.

With the password you get from the Director of Public Relations.
However there is a bug with these doors, so if you already have the password, read on...

If you have problems with locked doors:

After you get the password "ABRE" and then open a door you haven't tried before (get a list of passwords, including the correct one) will make you unable to open any other doors afterwards.

To get around this, just try to open all the "ABRE" doors, so you get the "Confirm override code" message BEFORE you get the password from the Director of Public Relations.
 
First of all I want to thank Killap for his job!
Well, now I have some questions:)

1. Vault-City and village nearby.
I completed quest about village by peacefull way. All was happy. But some time later I came into village and saw that it changed. And all villagers disappeared except two children walking around. But they doesn't want talk with me. Where is all people? I try to find any information in Vault-City and Gecko but nobody talk about it.
And what happened with happy Harry? He is in jail and again nobody talk why he is imprisoned.

2. EPA :)
I don't know what to do with Air Went and Water Pump (or something else... I don't remember exactly how this unit calls) on green sub-level (level 3). There is icon with hand but nothing happen using it. Science and Repair doesn't help. Did I miss something?

I don't know about the Vault Village, but the water pump in EPA is useless, nothing to do there.

Ah, thanks! Of course it's always fun to kill random innocents to vent my frustration, but knowing I can just go back... *looks for previous saves* ...on my next playthrough... Well! Time to take out Becky's bar!

Isnt there a timer for this "quest". I believe you should hurry with the elimination if you already visited V13
