Fallout 2 Restoration Project Gameplay Thread

I seem to be stuck in the EPA, would any please tell me how I fix the lights in this version ( 2.1.2b ) so the female, PR hologram will give me passcodes and how do I turn off the force field to access the clonelab by the aliens ? When I try to repair the forcefield generator actually sending out the field ( like in other parts of the game, for example the NCR ) it does nothing and neither does it seem to help when I try to affect the generator upstairs.

There's also the hologram who speaks only in 1's and 0's, I can for some reason not fix his hologram projector ( called "peculiar machine" ), when I try to use repair on it my character just says "What am I looking for here ?".

Perhaps my Science and Repair skills are just not high enough yet, I only have 98 in Science and 85 in Repair ( but I have Vic with me ).

About the lightning problem, have you gotten the quest to fix it first? Do you have any junk with you?

Hologram...
[spoiler:3f9b707429]You need science 100% and you need to talk to the holo to know what to do. Since it's a speech check (as in the science check is through dialogue) NPCs will not help you here[/spoiler:3f9b707429]
 
damn im stuck on the Enclave rig, one melted door to the west and on the south staircase to the landing pad with reactor (nothing to do there) :/

how to get to other levels? hELP
 
Can any one tell me how to get into EPA? There is a fenced area only as I see-on the left there is a white building with drill in it,to the south of it there is a locked black building(I cannot open this small building,but inside a see few lockers and a truck), to the south there is an ironic building. Inside there are suspension tunks-few broken,few hanging barely and the caved-in stairs-cannot do anything there. From the left of the entrance there is a big building with two air vents on left of it. I cannot use vents,search them. In the building there are two elevators one is broken-probably beyond the repair in the other there is an elevator shaft through which you can descend to the lover level. In the lover level there are few computers and two pump regulators but you cannot do anything with them. On this level there are light generators too with one whizing all the time-I get "something is wrong with this generator" info, but using repair or science skill don't help much.
What am I missing? Where is this doctor who gives you quests? Where are those epa color levels? I don't see any green exit greeds or whatever... Help?! :help: :help: :help: :wall: :puppy-dog: :?

Btw. What's the deal with the massage from underground about:"something is fishy" is San Francisco docks? Another bug or a future?

The doctor is removed in RP 2.x EPA. There's currently no walkthrough for RP 2.x EPA, and the old walkthrough is for RP 1.2 EPA only.
You should use the steel pipe found in one of the lockers/boxes in the ground level on the middle fan (when approaching, your character will say something like you could make the fan stop) to get to other levels.

What's the easiest way to get the info about Golgotha?

Generally I want to start playing with a new char and get the karma to -200 or below ASAP, with doing as little quests as possible, to 'start up' with (not mistake with 'evil') an asshole character from the very beginning. And without becoming a slaver. I always simply cheated torr in Klamath and dug all the graves in Den and Golgotha to get about -250 karma, then got back to Klam and start playing the usual routine. Unfortunately, now the Golgotha is invisible, and I don't remember how to get that location easily...

Maybe some other ideas for starting up an 'asshole' character quick and without interfering into the storyline too much?

If this is you answering my query about the oil rig, can you help me and zlykiss and tell us what to do there? The "barracks" area to the right leads to a door which I can't open and the elevator takes me to a vertibird landing area where I can't do anything.

Also, since you're the map guy, I'm guessing you made the new area. It's a landing area, out in the open, and has a nuclear reactor there. A bit silly don't you think? :wink:

I think you can talk to Jagged Jimmy J on 2nd street, ask him about Jet, where it comes from, Myron, how to see Myron, and he'll mention that if you piss off the Mordinos you'll end up in Golgotha... I'm not 100% sure but I know I've gotten the info from somebody in the town without having to pay the dude next to your car a 100$ asking for info on the families. I've made it a point to visit Golgotha early with my characters as well for the +1 CHA...
