Fallout 3 pirated, videos spread

Well that's what I'm saying, I need to see the context of the quote. But yeah I do have some basic beefs with Christianity, nothing I wouldn't extend to other faiths.

Look I have this dream (which will probably never come true) that video games, instead of isolating people and instilling national myths in the youth of today, could encourage critical thinking about the society we're a part of. I think the first fallouts started moving in that direction. But if this game turns into holy knights / space marines going out shooting the evildoers I will not be happy.

Well, the same could be said for Zelda. Anyway, I agree that there seems to be NO gray area as there were in the first games.

It's out there. Trust me.

Yeah, I found it within about a minute of looking in five different places.

Heck, someone earlier in the thread quoted a guy in the comment section of one of those torrents. Asking if this was a shooter or an rpg.

The fact he even had to ask is sad.

*dies a little inside*

I guess that was to be expected. Makes me wonder, do they think Oblivion is a FPS?

Who do you think bought the IP anyway? Todd? Pete? They don't control the funds, Zenimax does. Big fans of Fallout at ZM? Who cares?

Odds are that Jerry Bruckheimer (who is on the board of directors for ZM ) is one of the people behind this, aparently the guy likes PA settings a lot, after all the guy bought the Rights to do a "RIFTS" Movie from Palladium books

(for thoes not familiar with RIFTS, Bascialy is a Post apocoliptic earth that has been invaded by Aliens and where everything from NeoFashist Dictators to Vampires and Werewolves to Demons to Blind Fm Bimbo Slavers who run around in "Swinsuit Armor and work for a Giant Sentient Squid all strugle for dominance . . . No I am not making this up!)

Just think about it this way, you now have a 3D engine primed for modders to build the fallout 3D that you want. (I am aware that Bethesda isn't releasing mod tools at launch but that has never stopped the modding community before)

We can only pray that they will to try and counterbalance the craptastic performance they're putting on right now.

ok guys enough ranting on the Quote from the bible, its also from a forward in one of the mid 90s reprint of "Alas Babalon" by Pat frank, a book writen in 1959 that descibes the beguining and aftermath of WWIII with the Former USSR, (from the point of view of someone living in a small florida town) and bascialy presents the event as being more castastrophic than people at the time realised but also arguably winable by the US.

Are these NPC's bi-polar or something? One minute they're confrontational as hell, the next they just roll over and let you have your way.

Harkness confronts you at the entrance to Rivet City, threatens you with a 'trip to the river' several times, calls bullshit on your dad having lived in a Vault (yeah, like that's uncommon), looks like he's about to shoot you for just for asking why he's acting like a douche, says not just anyone can get in because he's responsible for everyone inside...

...and then, when he established that he apparently doesn't like you, doesn't trust you, and doesn't really even believe jack about your dad, just walks aside and lets you in so you can prepare and restock. Once again threatening to kill you.

Christ, they want the player to become the guy who ruins places and kills authority figures, don't they? Everyone that's supposed to be decent has a worse personality than the scumbags.

The leakage won't do the sales any harm. Look at what all the kids on the gamespot's message board are saying. They are totally sold and call F3 "the game that will define the golden era of gaming" no less. And what pisses me of is that because of them the game will do great and Beth will think they did a great job.

p.s. Also speaking of who would be worthy to make a Fallout sequel these days, I'd put my money on Valve. Those guys are the best. They would do proper justice to the Fallout universe.

Oriental women in a vault, during a period the US was in... a... war with... China?

They'd probably do a better justice to the universe than Beth, but not necessarily to Fallout's gameplay style.

No goofier than watching him walk up to a guy, hit him four times in the face (VATS) with a laser pistol, and finding out you only knocked him unconscious.

Really. I hate that system.

You are aware I'm sure of the several million asian-americans in the US.

*Snort* Here's some A.I:

He's ran up to a guy terrified of him (running around, spazzing out and shouting), had a normal conversational tree with him (man calmed down and spoke normally)...and then finished the conversation and watched the guy scream "HALP" and run off down the corridor.

It is to laugh.

Hah, and Trinnie (a woman living in Rivet City) looks like they pasted one of the faces of a child from the Vault onto an adult, then let her draw on her own eyebrows after they burnt off.

Man, this game has something hilarious about it every minute and a half.

May be. I guess we'll never know. But I would assume since they just don't release any shit. All their titles are amazing. Too bad they are only a few :)

Do you recall where the united states detained a lot of them during WW2, regardless of their actual nationality, when the only people of asian descent that we were actually at war with were the Japanese?
