Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

So only 1 companion at a time? Or is it gonna be like in Vanilla New Vegas with 1 Humanoid companion and 1 non humanoid one?

The character has been colloquially referred to as Sole_Survivor so I doubt that.

You're the only one to survive in teh vault your wife becomes ghoulified in the wastes...idfk

Also, sole survivor, the only person to wear proper shoes in the wastes.

@hereticus You irradiate people as a sign of gratitude

EDIT:
I can't believe the husband is named Howard if you play female

Your baby will be a ghoul too. A small ghoul.

I mean it is a mature game after all!

Hawesome news ! Where do you saw that he can be an optional companion ?

From this article http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/...let-you-switch-between-codsworth-and-dogmeat/

This sounds extremely on rails.

How? We can switch between them at any point

Meh. On rails might not be the best way to describe what I'm trying to get at. Can't think of how to say it though.
Limiting maybe? I suppose I'm annoyed that we're getting a companion this immediately.

Not a bad thing, though. It's kinda fair if you're making a non-combat character. Would be more useful in old Fallouts, though, because attributes and skills don't matter anymore. But it's optional, anyway, so you don't have to get them. I know I won't.

I don't know if this has already been stated, but the Brotherhood airship's name is Prydwen. Which is most likely named after the ship King Arthur used on his quest to find the Holy Grail.
Its possible that the ships name may correlate with the Brotherhood's motives in the game. Which would indicate that they are searching for something, but what exactly? I think it may be the PC. Reasons for this is that the PC in Fallout 4 is pretty special, somehow surviving 200 years without aging and being the sole survivor of Vault 111, also its speculated he/she may be a veteran.

This is just my theory anyways

I don't know, he was just cryogenized and he is a Joe Schmoe, if the Brotherhood are looking for something, and if they aren't the Knights in shinning armor from 3, then it will more than likely relate to the Institute. I hope this means at least there being 2 Factions and the Institue not being a stand in for the Enclave.

The article does make it sound like things are on rails with, "you will get several opportunities to go back and switch between them." That said, I'm highly skeptical that this won't be a sandbox game and it would pretty much have to not be for you to be stuck elsewhere depending on where you are in the story.

We haven't seen anything definitive about skills yet, right? Also why won't you get them? I mean invulnerable allies are dumb but it's possible that when they said they can't die that they still implemented a KO system like they had for quest NPCs in Oblivion. It's still stupid but it will keep it from breaking the game.

Also I have to say that while the protagonist has a crappy, emotionless voice actor that the other characters in the game play demo seem to have better voice acting than Fallout 3. Maybe they finally hired a new sound director? Also I'm really happy with the art direction that we've seen so far, I feel like it better captures Tomorrowland than Fallout 3 did.
