Fallout 4 DLC revealed

Some old as fuck thing from when Cthulhu plushies started showing up. Lovecraft has been spinning in his grave for decades.

Don't say it too loud, or they'll get to him next...
Oh wait, Skyrim's Falmer were basically Morlocks.
Uh, Jules Verne, maybe? Did they add shoddy references to Jules Verne yet?
In this case I think you give them too much credit. The Decent was released in 2006 when Skyrim was in production and I'm pretty sure they are a direct rip from the movie, which got its idea from Morlocks.
Falmer

You'd be giving Bethesda writers too much credit by assuming any of them knew what a book was.
It makes me a bit sad honestly. I do like playing Skyrim, but then I think, what was this ripped from and it can take me out of it for sure. When trying to get immersed the question I ask myself shouldn't be, "Did they steal this idea from H.P. an office party at Cineplex or was it date night for the concept artist and their inspiration came from Netflix.

Now I wait for one of the DLCs to have a boss/mini boss battle with Moby Dick on a boat with QTE sequences.
I can't believe they brought those hollow children of the atom into this DLC, they're already one of the shallowest pointless factions out of all the Fallout games. Then they're against synths in some what I would assume contrived war which atleast with a lot of synths you won't question why humans are as robotic in terms of animation and personality besides children of the atom(but it's not like any of Fallout 4's NPCs had personalities to begin with).
Oh then there's whether or not any friendly NPCs will exist and if it will be like the 20 to 1 enemy friendly ratio.
Well I know that none of this DLC will be any good or worth all of the money they're wanting for this "content" ripped from better mods. I'll be waiting for the disappointment afterwards.

What's dumb is the Children of Atom could have been a decent faction if the game had more than KILL LOOT RETURN interaction with other characters.

When I encountered the Children of Atom in the Glowing Sea I was excited...until I discovered you cannot have a conversation with ANY OF THEM. WHAT THE F*** kind of RPG is this?

Nothing is going to change. Outside of NMA it seems the majority of people think it's the greatest Fallout game ever made. I mean just look at this article and the comments:
http://www.thejimquisition.com/2015/11/fallout-4-review-s-p-e-c-i-a-l/

9.5 out of 10. That is 1 point more than he gave The Witcher 3. Enough said.

Too much too much too much! Okay:

The Wasteland is a brutal and terrible place
Well he got terrible place right but brutal? I was swimming in so much ammo and medicine that I didn't use since I had death claw/Mirelurk steak that I had to drop it off. "It's so brutal out here--oh look a power armor suit sitting there for me! Time to engage popamole mode!"

Super Mutants pillage and terrorize wherever they go
What?! Those orcs are everywhere you go, they don't need to go
anywhere if they're already there. They can't pillage and terrorize with all of their stupidity, like when I run around then head to sneak more not only do they not find me but they give up a few seconds later.

Fallout 4 has been a long time coming, and slipping back into its merrily vicious world has been an absolute joy
"Merrily vicious world"? More like a wacky themepark. "Absolute joy"? It's boring as hell.

Some systems have been overhauled, some drastic additions have appeared, but despite the initial culture shock that comes with its alterations, the same old Fallout lies at its heart, and five years after the delightful New Vegas, that’s not a bad thing at all.
You put overhauled instead of gutted. Drastic additions? No I don't recall any that were noteworthy. Old Fallout doesn't lie within this garbage it's dead. Bethesda change is really bad.

Okay I can't address any more of this drivel, too hard for me but I wanted to atleast address some of those points.

EDIT: Well after going back to that Bethesda thread I found this:

Ah delusional thinking will only keep you for the truth for so long, I bet that was there even before the patch unless I'm wrong but after the paid mods backlash it's not too surprising.
I think Bethesda wants to go the EA-Ubisoft route.

So it seems that the Automatron DLC may have been removed from the initial game to be specifically sold for profit later on as "DLC content" - not 100% a probability, but sure is 100% a possibility.

Even if they did do that, it's ok when THEY do it.

Jim Sterling? Oh right, the guy who could not believe that so many people on Metacritic disliked Fallout 4 and assumed it was one person with 3000 accounts or some such shit.

Even though it's undoubtedly been a commercial success, it's been one of the most critically tepid Bethesda games released in ages, despite the absurd amount of money they put into marketing it. It lost GOTY to Witcher 3, its Steam user rating is middling, its Metacritic user rating is abysmal. Whether Bethesda cares or not is another matter.

Point Lookout was terrible though. The only decent dlc was the Pitt. Bethesda hasn't made a good dlc since Morrowind.
God I hated that DLC. Why the hell did you need to get a lobotomy in order to infiltrate the tribal base? I mean these tribals had their brains cut up, they shouldn't be that hard to trick. For fuck sakes my for year old cousin can trick those clowns!

I tried but it was bad, like really bad. They eat it right up with no problem. That's the main audience for Bethesda, the best part? They are the rabid fanboys talking about how our criticism is unnecessary, that a season pass from Bethesda is okay, mods will fix it, story isn't important, etc. They also act as unpaid shills for some reason.

They don't give two shits whether sheeple like their game or not, they USED TO, like Interplay "By Gamers, For Gamers". No longer. Tis now, "By Corporations, For Morons". They have so obviously made this game to appeal to the masses of simpleton console jockeys - then threw PC users a shithouse dried up old bone with one tiny morsel of meat under the massive flap of cartledge. I'll re-use my phrase here "Console-Port-Turd-Syndrome".

Honestly, after seeing some of the comments on MrMattyPlays' video about the Fallout 4 DLC, these people scare me. They were violently telling him to "shut the f*** up" because the DLC is an "amazing deal $60 for $50" - they are literally attacking their biggest spokesperson for posting a video that didn't even say anything bad about the DLC in the first place, but was simply not enthusiastic enough for them about how "AMAZEBALLS FALLOUT 4 IS ZOMG!"

The minute I encountered that cunt Desmond I hated him and wanted to shoot him. So I did. He didn't die though because he was immortal. He knew it, too. He also knew that if I didn't do his job I'd have nothing more to do in the DLC but turn around and leave. Then I had to get my brain mutilated and have an acid trip during which the game insulted me repeatedly for doing things it had forced me to do through lack of choice. That DLC was basically a series of middle fingers. Fuck Bethesda.
