It will make sense if you don't think too much about it, i promise...I am a little curious how the mechanist made it to Boston after I emptied a plasma rifle into his face.

Bethesda has access to 4 recycling bins.I am a little curious how the mechanist made it to Boston after I emptied a plasma rifle into his face.
So they went back 2 games just tell me my choices didn't matter, well played Bethesda.Apparently he was marked as an essential NPC.
Despite of all the "It's just paid mods!", well to be honest, that actually doesn't bother me that much. If the content has a high quality. I don't see a problem with a developer providing something that some mods already do, and demanding money for it. As long they do it better. Often enough while many mods are nice, they lack what I call a professional feeling. A finishing touch, that you simply can only get in a very sophicisticated work environment, because you don't have 10 people working on your mod/project most of their day, making the Q&A testing, giving you input and so on. So, hey! As long it's really great, I don't care if it's similar content like from mods.
But that is pretty much the problem. Most of the time, Beth isn't doing a better job compared to modders ...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAThe mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain.
With the Wasteland Workshop, design and set cages to capture live creatures – from raiders to Deathclaws! Tame them or have them face off in battle
growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople.
I actually think a Lovecraft themed Fallout DLC would be pretty cool if done by someone more subtle and competent like Obsidian.
