Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

I'm wondering where the security for the vault was, probably with their thumbs up their asses. How the hell did Kellogg's Cornflakes get in their without getting killed? Also why did only ten or so people end up in a vault ment to hold 1,000 people?
It just works! Now stop asking questions, or do we have to turn on the swing music again?
No I don't need that...I..just get a bit curious about some things that must have a sort of logical reason. :P
Well, apparently the door to Vault 111 is opened just by pressing a button on the surface.
Please tell me you're joking...seriously you're joking right?

At least Vault 112 had that Robobrain rolling around...

Wait, why do they shoot the wife and take the kid? Do Captain Crunch and his guys also kill the other frozen vault dwellers and take their children?

How come the Lone Survivor is spared anyway?
Might be on a tight schedule and that's why they kill the wife and get out of there in a hurry. I wonder why the amazing Shaun is so special that they took him though.

[edit]

Remember how whatshisface plugs in his pipboy into some slot before he opens up the vault door? Maybe it has some kind of sensor module in it that allows him to use the button up top to get down. Like, it only activates if you have the right code in its sensor module. But that means Mr Cornflakes... Uh... Is... The head of Vault Tech. Obviously! See, it all makes sense guys! It just works.

What did he do?

Joe tried to ambush Geoff on the red carpet one of his award shows in order to criticize his format or whatever... doing so in the most obnoxious blustering fashion.

Thing is, Joe didn't even have his damn facts straight and Geoff ended up correcting him and throwing most of his points right back in his face.

What a maroon.

Well, at least he admitted so much afterwards. It was quite fun to see him fail so hard playing with the big guys, though :D

Anyone who calls his fans/viewers an "army" is a lame asshole with ego issues.

Which door? The door down in the vault or the big elevator "door"?

The Elevator. A dude got into the Vault again right after exiting by hitting a button next to the entrance and standing on the elevator.

I see no issue there, the area wasn't fully complete and it doesn't give access to the Vault just the elevator.

The elevator leads directly into the entrance tho. It's how you get into the Vault in the first place.

So General Mills has a Pipboy of his own that can hack vault doors?

OK, fine. Whatever.

I'm still trying to figure out why he's there in the first place. Is the Institute supposed to be like the Master's army, scouring the vaults for people to turn into mutants... er, androids?

Android components are difficult to craft. Baby tissue good for materials. Baby got ground up to make synth. How it became "Father"? Er... Llllllast minute alteration to a previous android to manipulate the walking god that is the player character! It just works.

Huh, I kinda always thought that VATS was a function of the PIPboy, however that may work. But in the intro you can use VATS before actually getting it...

in every other game the vaults were underground or in caves, and disguised from the outside for long term security purposes.

in this, we get a giant vault door shaped elevator platform with bright colored safety paint in the open on top of a hill, completely obvious to the whole world for 200 years.

They might as well have a flashing neon sign that says "Vault 111: No Vacancy"

Right but if the Vault is closed it does nothing but bring them down an elevator. Didn't a lot of them have outdoor switches in previous games anyway?

They usually were also inside caves so the entrances weren't easily available. Thre is an implication that Vault doors are usually sealed from within, as even in FO3 and New Vegas the only vaults you could access with no problems where the abandoned or ransacked ones. But the Elevator here is painted in bright yellow and has controls on the surface, that's a very nonsensical and obvious security flaw.

I thought I made it clear a while ago that everyone is a synth. Your character just happens to be a pre-war synth. You got VATS built into you. Just it works.

But it needs a Pip Boy to get out ;)

You see, this is actually Bethesda beeing deep this time, and I mean reeaally deep, like psychological-silent-hill deep. The Vault actually stands for the companions and the sexual relationship you have with them.

It is much easier to get in, than it is to get out!

Man Beth, you now your shit!

Next we should discuss what milking humans for kindness means for a Super Mutant ...

But it's actually more secure than before if you can only access the elevator from outside. I'm looking at Vault 11 for example, switches right outside. Further there is construction equipment surrounding it because everything wasn't done yet and having access to the elevator doesn't mean they can get inside. No issue here. Plus if it's open after you unlock it and open it, that's not a problem either. You opened it from inside.
