Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

It's pretty hilarious that you can just throw a grenade at your stupid dog and he will just calmly walk back to you while ON FIRE. Immurshive as feck.

So now, not only do we get a "kaching" sound when we earn exp, but your character also makes a comment about his success.... Next game you'll also get a mini rave and confeti when you successfully pick an easy lock.

Wow, that sounds like something the Canadian Devil would put in his game.

This Ai is just something else....

Obviously scripted "combat sequence" where you even get Deathclaws popping out of the ground? Raiders walk off roofs on their own, Deathclaws ignore you and the last Raider is just casually walking down an alley, waiting for you to shoot him to complete the quest.

Map leak.

And they showed it thinking it was good?

There's also a cooldown on them.

Sounds like they're realizing how people would just facetank in FO3/NV casual style, though then again, they have a perk that allows you to heal nearly full health, which I'm betting the next ranks will do full health and lower the cooldown of healing.

Map looks really small, but that just might be landmass compression on the Pipboy map just like with new vegas. *cofBadlydesignedUIcof*

Edit:
The fucking Deathclaw even ran into a car and had to akwardly circle around it, then it fell into the "hole" it popped up from and got stuck before the guy shot it dead...

Given all this wonderful AI on display, let's start a guessing game: How big do you think the Day 1 patch for this game is going to be, and how many patches will we get?

I'll say maybe 3.5 GIGs, and around 11 patches total, sans DLC patches.

To think, our only hope in interesting AI was the Deathclaw, but even it is derping up and beyond. In fact, I found it comical on how it kept trying to dodge bullets by bobbing to the left and right, my guess is it's AI is using a proccing program that whenever a projectile hits it, it'll have a chance of proccing a special event that makes the Deathclaw 'dodge', but with a rapid fire weapon like a minigun, what you'll get with this is a Deathclaw trying to do a shuffling dance, which I'm sure players will be exploiting it greatly, just as what happened with the car scene (Deathclaw shuffled to the left over and over until it 'bonked' into the Truck, doesn't even attempt to leap over it or slam it to the side...so much for uber strength).

Edit: Why is the Deathclaw trying to grab someone in power armor? Why not just tackle it down and slam it's claws into it and just be done with it? Oh right, Bethesda, they made Deathclaws, who were designed to be close-quarters shock troopers and basically counters to the Power Armor/infantry troops, into jokes now.

Ok guys, this was hilarious. Now I am gonna go laugh myself to sleep.
I'm sure that there will be more for you to laugh at when you wake up. These next couple of weeks are going to be a treasure trove of laughter and face palming.

I really can't see enemies really looking out for cover. I guess it will be like F3, where it is rather randomly and rare that the AI will use cover to fight you. I also noticed that the player in the video didn't pick the minigun up like they showed it in the trailers with the crashed v-bird. It just disapears from the vehicle and magicaly apears in your hands. Not that I expected it actually, many games show a "cinematic" gameplay trailer these days where they add in animations and stuff that will not be like that in the real game - for Example Diablo 3 showed death animations for the players in some early trailer with the siegebreaker boss battle, but they never happen in the game.

Wha?! You mean to tell me that a AAA gaming company and developer lied in order to stir up hype with gullible gamers? Why that is unheard of! I am outraged!

In all seriousness though, I am sure most of us here expected that. Not the first time Beth or a AAA gaming company and developer lied and it won't be the last.

Even people on other sites are complaining about the same fucking super mutant voices. Really bad showing Bethesda.

Are they really talking with you or do you mean their death sounds?

Yeeah, well to be honest a little bit of lying is to be expected these days, so I don't take really any offense from it, as long it doesn't end up like the fucked up Aliens Colonial Marines, that one ... was a steaming pile of shit. I mean gaming companies have done their little tricks and hype-marketing since the first time someone advertisted a PC game. Anyway, I don't think a 3 sec. animation that you would experience only once anyway will brake the game or feeling of the game to much.

It's just funny how I remember that I thought "this, will never be exactly like that in finished game" when I saw this v-bird-mini-gun-animation for the first time after the player gets the power-armor.
