Yeah. And to even talk to some NPCs you need to clear all the enemies out that are nearby.

Bethesda are simply *NOT* making my kind of Fallout game. I'm fine with lots of forced killing in other RPGs, like Final Fantasy, Wasteland, etc. But Fallout is supposed to be all about player choice and options to kill or not to kill. Bethesda know their audience likes to shoot people in the face though, so we're gonna make our game force you to do it. We are Bethesda, hear us not give a shit about the original IP we bought and make it in our own image of bad writing, bad dialogue, no player choice or consequence, and lots of 50's music.

They essentially re-used they're entire catalogue, plus new music.

Seriously, what's the point?

And this DJ is so fucking terrible. Like, worse than Three Dog. He's PURPOSELY SLOW, STUTTERING AND BORING. Three Dog may have been an irritating cunt, but at least he said things in an interesting way with a unique personality.

Yesterday in the stream there was some quest to deal with the incompetent DJ but I didn't see where the streamer went with that.

Also Preston and Piper don't like it when you give the crazy old bat drugs for her acid trip prophecy.

I saw a bit of it. He still seemed and seems boring, even if it's not intentional at this point.
 
The quest was to help him on a fake fight with a thug, Piper ended up killing the Thug because the Ai is stupid and drew a weapon in what was a fist fight and killed both of them. THe Bartender got pissed.
