Fallout: The Frontier - Released!

Bitter Springs was a red flag operation orchestrated by the secret Followers of the Apocalypse members who infiltrated NCR congress to take away everyone's plasma rifles. Also, Kimball's a lizard.

He's been getting more overtly political lately as well and it comes across very obnoxious, like in their last fallout 4 video where he was making very sure to keep the trans/lgbt flag in view during one part. I mean I don't really mind that, but I think it made his intentions pretty clear with how hard he was trying to make sure the viewer would see it.
Not really surprising he's siding with the frontier devs

The khans pillaged, raped and stole in the mojave for years before the NCR came, they thought they owned everything till one day they attacked a NCR caravan, got ambushed in bitter springs and got put in their place, everyone viewed the NCR as monsters despite the khans being worse in every aspect, the NCR even turned the khans's previous base into a refugee camp, the native americans on the other hand noticed that the europeans wouldn't survive much in america, so they teached them how to crop plants and such, and what was their reward? they got fucking massacred.

Just change Khans for Native Americans and NCR for the US Government and you have a pretty accurate assessment of the Indian Wars.

Well supposedly all humans come from Africa so... blegh.

So how are Khans like the Native Americans and NCR like US government when they both came from the same place? Shady Sands formed a village, which became a nation and Khans decided to rape and pillage instead for generations. But the Khans are innocent and NCR is evil. Makes sense.

I was more going off of the situation in New Vegas, by that time any relations are ancient history and don't really play a role in anything.
But the Khans are innocent and NCR is evil.
I would say both are 'evil' and the Khans got what was coming to them. Like the Native Americans, or if you want certain tribes, who felt like they could scalp, rape, murder, and raid settlers and citizens only to get their comeuppance, and for their ancestors to deny all of their faults and whine perpetually while getting drunk off firewater on the reservation.

Not every event that can be somewhat compared has to be 1:1. I see what he's saying. Khans are people of the wasteland, NCR is fast government growth that absorbs anything in their path and has to squash or assimilate any locals in the way. Saying they both came from the Vaults is kinda pointless as if that was always something we had to ask about, any allusion to this idea would be moot since there aren't foreigners coming to the US in Fallout to colonize it.

Yes, in this case the Khans do reprehensible shit like raids and pillaging and drug trade. The NCR though, is still evil in a different manner to many, many people of the wastes. Even the innocents. Look at how Easy Pete feels about them within a few minutes of playing New Vegas.

Evil is a social construct/mater of perspective.

Not even doing that whole argument. NCR is ripe with corruption and other flaws of democratic systems while trying to always expand while they can't even protect the people they're taxing in a world that's recovering from a nuclear war. Not exactly a force for good to the common man who doing just about the same but now they're being taxed because to them the government is practically another gang. They get attacked by mutants or raiders? Shrug, sorry poor farmer. Sucks to suck! Can you pay your taxes now? Thanks.

My objection to people comparing Khans and NCR to Native Americans and US government is that is a attempt to white wash the khans. Its why people use Wounded Knee as a example instead of Waco or Ruby Ridge.

Oh, that fucking clown? Geez, could it be that the reason why is because the Frontier devs gave him a cameo in their mod and now he feels like that he has to defend them in order to defend his image and pride? What a narcissistic little bitch! The only one who has actually acted like an adult and admitted the mods failure is CellBlockPsycho. He is the only one who I have seen so far. Everyone else either bailed like Dragbody (can't say I blamed him as he is also working on Miami and I wouldn't want my name associated with this mess) or are desperately trying to defend the mod to salvage their wounded pride and ego.

Both me and my Lefty boyfriend can't stand people like that. People who go out of the fucking way to shove politics down your throat or show how "virtuous" they are. Just shut the fuck up and entertain people. Unless you run a political channel or shit posting channel, nobody gives a shit about what politics you are trying to preach unless they are some sexual deviant on Twitter. I don't watch a gaming channel to get 9000 iq takes from the likes of some loser like Mikeburnfire (such a stupid name), I came to watch some jagoff play video games and tell jokes.

It's a shame that Mike has dug himself into a hole where he feels like he has to cuck himself for The Frontier, as his recent little "quest pack" mod was really well done in my opinion.

It is basically the same as when IGN went overboard defending Mass Effect 3 because one of their employees had a minor role in the game. Wouldn't surprise if the reason that the Frontier devs hired a lot of these big Fallout YouTubers and gave them roles and cameos is because they knew that no matter what that they would defend the mod because they stared in it. Why can't more of these YouTubers be like I Hate Everything? He stared in Hunt Down The Freeman but he shat all over that game when it was released.

yeah it's a pretty good mod. nothing in there really feels out of place and is trying to sell an agenda. i'm not goanna let mike being stupid by defending the frontier change that.

Remember when the biggest controversy The Frontier had was Dragbody having the same name as a neo Nazi.

I bet they wish that was the only controversy they and this mod had. Then most of the lead devs and writers were discovered to be pedophiles, ephebophiles, zoophiles and perverts who have a bad case of yellow fever.

I've still been waiting for some people from the Project: Tamriel or Tamriel Rebuilt teams in the Morrowind modding scene branch out and take on New Vegas, it's clearly a very influential game in both projects.

i'm kind of sad that two major disappointments have made everyone think all mods are bad. just read the comments on 4 decent friend's coverage on new california.

some are even blaming fallout 2 for new california and the frontier.
