my favorite season I did a paid league with 20 teams. You just have to get backup RBs, which happens anyways as so many teams are splitting carries this year.

I wouldn't say it's getting harder, as much as it's hard if you're still stuck on the old way of thinking about the value of RBs. A starting RB is still your most valuable player in most formats, but generally RBs are slotted somewhere behind QBs and near WRs.
