Fact: before social media you couldn't harrass people online for not agreeing with either side of the Black and white narrative both feminists and ultra conservatives have created. Also it's pretty annoying when all the discussions just become about simplified gender politics.

But now you can do it from across the ocean and en masse.

Before they actually had to be near you and you could call the police and aprehend them. Now there is nothing you can do to stop it if a large enough group decides you are an undesirable, short of cutting yourself off from all online communication. And even then there is the Swatting, DDOS attacking, and all of that shit.

Ugh, i am getting real tired of saying this to people: Just because YOU don't need Feminism, doesn't mean it is not valid. Seriously, its like you just pay attention to the "hates men" part of Feminism and ignore the rest. Complaining that Feminism doesn't help men (which, it actually does) and focuses on women over men, is like complaining that the Civil Rights Movement focused more on black people than white people. All the bad things that happen to men, are cause BY MEN, or by culture put in their by men, such as the "a true man isnt emotional" bull sh*t.

Nope, I do need feminism. Or at least, I do need equality in my society, which is practically a shithole of xenophobia, and is one of the reasons I kinda promote equality IRL, as little as that counts. By an extension, you could say I also promote feminism too, though I'm not sure if I'd personally like to have me described as such.
