First round of Fallout 4 Reviews

They do, you do the Sancturay Quest and Preston names you leader. Despite you even saying that you don't know anything about the faction.

That isn't right away, that's after 2 quests where you directly assist a group that has literally ONE actual Minuteman left in it that doesn't want to lead.

That's like the second Quest I completed on the whole game. I wasn't even level 5 and I was already the leader of a faction.

Of a dead faction? Sure. Saving them and recruiting people to a group with one guy and it is perfectly fine. You misrepresented it as happening right away.

And he makes you the leader after a single quest. So.... I wasn't wrong, you are just moving the goalposts.

You're right, it's one big quest but many steps and individual quests within that overarching one. You're misrepresenting it and claiming "he doesn't know you" and acting like they're a big faction when it's one guy at that time and you're not using the goalposts thing correctly.

A big quest with many steps? I just have to kill some raiders and build a couple of things and I am Leader. Doesn't even take 10 minutes.

And it still isn't as you represent at all, nor is it a problem. Also what time it takes in real life means nothing to in game time. It could take me a week in game.

Building things? You kill the raiders in Concord, then you kill the raiders in the Corvega factory and BOOM General.

I think you forgot the lake raiders as well. Why would one guy not want you to lead when you've saved them and done what he couldn't do?

Actually it takes an hour of in game time because that's the time scale. 10 minutes = 1 in game hour. Or are you now just using your head canon to turn a 10 minute quest into a week long epic? And you are calling people crazy here?

Because you don't have to complete it all at once, it's like people who run through the main quest who complain about how there's no pacing. Don't do it all at once. Quest lines can take me a week in game or real life depending on what I do. You're misunderstanding what I'm saying.

Raiders in the Lake? I only remember killing the Raiders in Concord and Corvega and build some shit.

Why wouldn't you want someone like that lead you? because you don't know them? Because the Sole Survivor could look like an obese middle aged man?

Is this how you vote? By how many people the candidates have killed?

Oh I don't have to complete it right away. Cool, guess what? The game allows that. So just because you took a week to do a 10 minute quest it doesn't turn the 10 minute quest into a week long epic, sorry.

The second major part you go to kill the raiders in the gift shop you have to access by the sewer pipe for the settlers that Garvey points you to. I cleared out the Corvega factory before even having that quest.

So you admit I'm right plus you're forgetting another step. And yes, a video game is just like real life voting for a faction of one guy you saved. Exactly. That's how voting works!

Lake raiders? I just did the quest yesterday, and all I did was save the Minutemen in Concord, met with them in Sanctuary, hiked over to those other settlers, killed the raiders in the Corvega factory and went back to Sanctuary to be named General. Literally talked three times to Preston Garvey and then he named me General.

I was only ordered to kill the Corvega Raiders and build things before becoming the leader. So they don't evenallow the player to bypass quests if they already killed the generic raiders and they make you kill more generic Raiders? That's another level of linear.
