funniest moments from fallout games

I am just playing Fallout tactics.
I had a Raider throwing a grenade at me, he botched and blew himself into a thousand pieces and just in this moment he said with and overhead text "this will hurt you more than me"
I still cant stop laughing.

HEY LLOYD, CATCH!!!!!!!

This was one of the funniest moments for me in Fallout along with the Brahmin that runs onto the minefield in the Raider camp in Fallout Tactics.

^^^
I'm going to do that tonight, everyone says its hilarious and I haven't even talked to Torr beyond doing his short quest.

Working as a flaffer for corsican bros was appropriately depressing, I also found Dunton bros´s dialogue quite hilarious as well. And those explodin limbs in F3 OMG I LOLd!

The first time I went to Modoc and seduced Maria, I thought I was a proper stud- then her father forces me into marrying her at gunpoint.
I thought that was hilarious and a great part of the game.

'I SURE THE HELL....'

'UM..... I do..'

Ha!

Must be one of those exploding exploring experiments in F2.

Chosen one wasn't big by level but he thought he was tough, he could take anything. Well, anything, apparently, was not Remnant's of Master's army.

- What's that weapon the mutie is holding in he's shoulder?
- Sound of impending doom..

And there i was. Literally resting in pieces around the desert

Oh, almost forgot! The stealing kid's in Den. They learned it in a hard way that Never steal from a guy who's crazy enough to put a timed and armed explosives in he's backpack. Priceless

After I killed the "chicken" in Modoc, and then later Rose (I think that was the name) complaining about it.
And the whale special encounter, when it fell from the sky. Couldn't believe it.

Playing FO1 as a dumb character. When you get the water chip and return it to Vault 13, the conversation with the Overseer is priceless.

Getting the Vault thingmajig from Renesco.
Arnold Swollenmember, the moment I saw that option for my porn name I just knew it was the one meant for me.
And Also I got the Bridge keeper special encounter and when I answered the las question he just explodes there, got myself a pretty useful robe earlier in the game.

Oh and on a more perverse note, I went to the Slags children pen with my party (Sulik, Casidy, Vic, Marcus, Goris) and kicked a kid in the groin, next thing I know Marcus is melting kids left and right, Goris is just cutting them to peices, Casidy burst kills them, Sulik throws them across the room with the super sledge and Vic, well Vic just glitches and starts to run around, I couldn't stop laughing at the kid massacre I caused by a single kick, of course I reloaded my file again, I only wanted to see how it was to kill kid npcs.

Fallout 1's sense of humor was very subtle, and I loved some of the descriptions they provided.

You see: pipes
Upon closer examination, they are still pipes.

The Chosen One's dialogue in Fallout 2 was priceless, though.

"Oh, I thought there weren't any children around because this is the European version of Fallout 2. Goodbye."

I also liked when he actually started talking about Elton John's song "Rocketman", because that was exactly what I was thinking when I first saw Renesco.

I am really tempted to create a dumb character and try it out.

How low is a character considered stupid? 5? I never really made one.

One of the moments I almost cried of laughter was at the NCR, when you meet with that prayer from the Hubologists, and he asks about your level. He meant the level on the Hubologist aura level or something, then I got a choice of dialogue that said something like this:

"Well, the last time I checked my Character Tab I was level 12, and still had some points to spend on Guns, but I saved it for later"

This made my day at the time. FO humor is plainly awesome, I love when there's no 4th wall.

A recent funny moment was when I first tried the C4 on some poor NCR bastard. His corpse flew ridiculously far. Or what was left of it anyway.

And of course there's the Nightkin who tried to sell me wind Brahmin (tumbleweeds). My words somehow confused him and he gave me a stealthboy instead and left. Now that's one good scam artist.

Everytime I read this shit I hate Fallout 2 even more. Almost on the same level of "humour" as FO3s.

Dunno what to say to that. On one hand my favorite Fallout game is the first because it has the most atmospheric, creepy and serious game world, with very subtle humor thrown in. On the other, F2 and NV are a lot of fun as well.

Both Fallout 1 & 2 are priceless, but Surf Solar has a point there, they overdid the dialogue in certain points. Sure, it is funny when you hear the first time, but after some time, it feels really stupid. Not that it is bad-written, it's just ill-fitted.

Let's see , a long time ago when i was playing Fallout 1 .... Well first time i begun to play it :D
I used Mentats at Watershed . Now , i didn't know jack shit about sideffects , was still a noob .

Talked to Harry and it was like this : "uuutthhrhrhnnnn..."

Kay....somethings wrong , i have to reload . Hmmm there again same , i can't talk , must be a bug , let's just kill him .

Funny thing in all that was that i seriously thought something was wrong with the game . It was a serious laugh when i realized that poor Harry had to take humans for Master but he found one so damn stupid he wasn't even worth taking back ! He didn't understand a word i said and told me to go away .

Also , when i asked a question to the Bridge Keeper in Fallout 2... and got his purple robes .

Thing is, I love this lack of 4th wall, when they made fun about their own game, I always cracked.

But I think that was the only line that I remember seeing that made a joke like that, sure there were other jokes like the Rocketman, but I still love them even being just a few.

new Reno contains some of the most funny dialogue moments in F2. Be it either with Myron or Jagged Jimmy. Its pretty fun when your character has high inteligence. Lynette was awesome too particularly as pretty much anything is pissing her off.
