I want to stright something up, just this one thing so everybody can read it and remember it.
Furry is not about sex
Yiff is about sex of furries but this is a hole other topic. As i readed somewhere, it's not more then 3% of people who are furry also claim theyselfs as zoophiles.
Furry is more like a life style then, let's say, hobby. It's the way how you look at yourself everytime in mirror. It is the way how you feel, and you can't classify it so easily becuse everybody seems to feel that diffrent. It's like diffrence in fursonas, and no, dammit, not everybody must have it. For exemple I don't understand dragons, scales, sharp claws and stuff are scarrying me out. I just can't see me in that way, but it does'nt change what i think about furry's who uses that fursona. Can't understand dragons, can understand furry, is it clear?
Ps. I'm sick of comparing furry to sexual or/and psyche dissorders, yiff mayby i don't have strong opinion in that topic but damn it's just the way how i feel, and I'm really happy there is more people like me.
Classic cartoons, like Looney Toons and Disney's iconic TV characters (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc.), were more or less furry but they were pretty big in the 80s and 90s (TMNT, Gummi Bears, Tale Spin, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Top Katz, Chin 'N Dale Rescue Rangers, etc.) with some having more anthropomorphic proportions (TMNT, Top Katz, Mighty Ducks, etc.) than others. I'd guess that the reasons that there has been a huge decline in the last decade is because western animation studios hate furries (what I've heard, could be wrong) and western animation has been greatly influenced by anime, in which furries are uncommon and rarely if ever the entire cast.Cheomesh said:Come to think of it, aren't there a LOT of cartoons we grew up with that had what we would easily ID as a "furry"?

Well i never heard that before, it looks like you are more in this topic then me ^^. Anyway music seems to be fine, even fun. What brings lyrics in music aren't really important to me, you can find a lot more disturbing lyrics, about eating cats and kissing satan in internet. So, heh... also as I said everyone have diffrent image of what furry really is.
Minerva Mink was pretty bad too, in fact her limited appearance in Animaniacs is due to her clips being too sexual in nature.Brother None said:Most girl-toons weren't that egregious.

I would assume that was part of suasides point when he talked about it and all that rhetorical thing about furries and such.
the question is if or if not there is a need to push it everywhere and if furries are really the punching bag in society or the media.
I cant say anthing about the US really, but here in Germany at least its never been anything of importance. But that might be cause no one here is seen runing around in furr suits. But we also never had any media set a focus on furry cons that happen in Germany. people are used with all sorts of exhibition now bee it sexual in nature or not. What ever furries are not better or worse then those people runing around in sci-fi conventions with vulcan ears, star trek uniforms or in fantasy and comic conventions dressed up like their favourite super hero and villain. Who cares if those people later in the hotel or at home fuck each others brain out in their costume as long they dont scream it out in the public.
