Depends on what you say there. Rausch is an employee. As any employee he has to answer to his superiors, and if you convince them that Rausch crossed the line, he would have a lot to answer for. I expressed my disappointments, pointed that kids read this fine magazine, and demanded to a retraction and an apology. I suggest you do the same.

You're probably right.

To hold such a deep-seeded grudge from Tactics is no small feat. Nobody other than Rosh could have pulled that off.

this retard called rausch is a really annoying little brat.
i never really liked gamespy, because of their really bad online plattforms with no people playing on it because it's so buggy and badly done, but now, well, i really hate them now.
 
Too bad the guy didn't mention countless NMA threads like:

"The sky in Beth fallout is too blue" (although less blue than in original Fallout)

"There should not be intact building after a bomb exploded, it's impossible" (although there were exactly same buildings on Hiroshima photo)

"The music sux" (although it is very similar to tanker music, which, magically, doesn't suck).

The list goes on. Without him mentioning this, some readers may indeed believe that he is prejudged towards the Fallout Community.
 
So much for a professional gaming journalism corporation. Wait, did I say professional? Must have been a mistake, I didn't mean that. This guy radiates with stupidity and ignorance, it really came clear when he said the nonsense about Perlman and the East Coast.
 
Filled in a feedback form... sent the e-mails... asked for a public apology and retraction...

Here's to hoping something gets done about this.
 
What an arrogant SOB :) We should really let comments like those slide. Show them we're better then that and their media whores.
 
I wonder if he gets in trouble over something. Then just points his boss over to fallout fansite to show they are filling in gamespy forms about him over sarcastic comments. This then allows him to absorb much larger amounts of negative criticism. On his next article......

Ah yes, I can see it now, the editor'll read this thread and go "yes, I can see why you used Gamespy's airing time to wish all these guys are dead. After all, they're posting on a forum, who wouldn't wish them dead? Bravo!" :clap:

I really think it's more the princable of the matter and the manner that it was executed.
It's kind of like criticism that got lost in childish wishes.
I can see yes, being quiet and being the bigger man.
There is nothing wrong with pointing out immaturity however.

Quickly, slip into the room, look around to see if he's there or not, unzip and then let it unload into the bowl... All of it.. then out of the window he goes.

Guy comes back from the bathroom, sits down, takes a spoonful while the news is on, then chokes, looks at his bowl - and begins to vomit all over his kitchen floor.. :lol:

I'm sure Bethesda is delighted about these wave of attacks against Fallout fans. "Yeah, that serves them right! Fucking idiots, wanting true sequels and shit!"

Actually, I disagree with you. In Howard's latest interview with Game Informer, he seemed scared out of his mind - and extremely nervous about what he was going to say.

The only thing that I could see going through that little complex would be that whatever he is going to say those exact moments, a bunch of fans are going to lay out on an operating table at NMA and dis-sect it into itty bitty pieces until they figure out every single cell lining it.

So, I don't think they've got their legs kicked up on their table, cigar primed, and laughing it up - I think they are absolutely scared crapless. As for Gamespy, well that's a different story. :D
 
OK, they might be worried if there are people bad-mouthing their products, but don't you think they are happy when popular sites like GameSpy... well, bad-mouth the bad-mouthers?

Unfortunately, that gives them more credibility I think. Because, let's face it, most who listen to these sites are uneducated about the subject, and they'll simply think "Oh, they are mindless haters. They deserve those things said about them".
 
A mild speculation:

Rausch is the sound of producers and managers who fumble and then blame it on the customers.

They think so much of themselves and think theyve poured their heart and soul into a product when in fact they do a half ass job and dont have the professional decency to evaluate where things are going wrong .. and then when its not all roses and hearts from the customers they go like : You dont know whats good ! I know whats good ! This public clearly does not deserve what i did for them / or whats being done for them !

Such a bitter bitter man. Sunday coffe should be mild and milky.

Also if memory serves me right .. didnt DAC get the boot from Gamespy because of truthiness issues regarding Tactics ? ... mmm
