Especially when they get things wrong.

The Upside-Down isn't the plane of darkness, that's the Shadowfell or the Demiplane of Dread. You don't roll to attack with Fireball. You don't use Shadow Walk to travel between planes, you use Plane Shift or Gate. Eleven isn't a mage, she's a psionic at best. Demogorgon is a person. I am not "the Ben," there's not an admin here named "the Hassknecht," the lord of the underworld isn't the Lucifer, and the Greek god of the sea isn't the Poseidon. And for Christ's sake, you don't use Fireball against a friggin' demon. Almost all of them are immune to fire.

It started off pretty well, but began falling apart midway through Season 2. After that it had occasional spikes of quality among the mire of mediocre-to-shite, until it finally jumped the shark in Season 5. Well, I'd argue it jumped it in Season 3, but in that case Season 5 is jumping the megalodon.
In any case, if we don't count performance by Spacey, Wright etc. which is superb, this show has almost nothing to it.

Spacey is a great actor, overall. I've enjoyed every performance of his, including that in House of Cards - that was basically the only reason why I kept going.

He was often in small roles, not really the main star of many of his movies. Small roles can be memorable.

Edit. Louis CK is also one of these Hollywood-harassers, or 'USA media figure'-harassers, lol.

I posted a couple of his videos recently where he liberally used the n-word. Kind of puts all that into new perspective. Much of his humor was based on being outrages but maybe not being like that in real life. Now that he kind of was like that in real life, people aren't laughing any more.

Could have gone to his stand up thingy recently, good thing I saved the dough.

Watched the new Hey Arnold movie.

I wannna edit the part where Helga and Arnold get together with a message that reads "White Genocide Averted!" And release it without context on the web just to see the shitstorm.
 
The annual CW DC crossover event was really good this year. Its still a slightly corny soap opera but I love it worts and all. Each year they get a little tighter and the fight scenes more complex and the budgets get slightly bigger.
 
School classmates want to organize a meeting on a whatsapp group. I think about going, then they engage in conversation in the group and I make up my mind... fuck that shit. There was a reason why I was dancing of happiness during Highschool graduation.
 
Finland (a.k.a. the 'Twin Peaks'-country where folks drink lots of coffee and owls aren't what they seem etc.) is 100 years old on 6. of December. Quite a young country, really. I mean, San Marino is like 400 years old. Then again the Finnish people, and the Sami and Kven people who are some of the only native people of Europe, have been here much longer than just 100 years. Anyway, cheers y'all.

I tried edibles for the first time last night. It was certainly an experience I've never had before, can't say I either enjoyed or hated it.

My first experience with anything Astroboy related was with the early 2000s series, the Latin american dub for some reason decided not to translate "Kokoro" (Heart), they even pronounced it with a hard R so for a while I thought that in Astroboy the reason the Robots had emotions was because they had a literal component called Kokorro and most of the drama just rang hollow to me as a result.
 
There's a post-apoc episode on new season of black mirror. Not the best but the robot dog was pretty cool
