The guy I mentioned some time ago, who arrogantly and angrily announced plans to create an "autistic state" on the banks of the Danube river, for then to insult everyone who questioned the feasibility of the idea, has now abandoned all claims to the territories, seeing that a Czech group of libertarians are planning to make a "libertarian state" on the same spot. Afaik, he had to actually go to Croatia, to find this out.

I wonder why Wikinews is not reporting this.
There is also total silence from BBC and CNN. Weird.

Given that my country is bordering "Liberland", news coverage around here is also miserably bad. Not that I blame them though, most people would find this as nothing more but a joke.
In geopolitical terms however, is such an action feasible? It's an unclaimed stretch of territory that no other country seems to take an active interest in nor holds a claim to it - it may have been part of Yugoslavia, but we all know how that one ended, and after all these years neither Croatia nor Serbia seem to have taken interest in it. I guess expanding closer to the neighboring country with whom you've been at war without any real benefits is not the smartest thing to do, so nobody does it. Or they completely forgot about it.
What I'd like to know here, if there are people who are versed in this sort of things, is whether this guy can actually pull it off.? Again, in geopolitical terms - not actually talking about whether anybody would live there as much as whether anybody could.
He has a name. He has a flag and other forms of insignia. He says he has a Constitution in making. In short, that is a fine course to plot. Doable?

Not any more doable than any of the other microstate attempts in the world, of which only Sealand remains (afaik) due to being outside of all possible international boundary, and outside of all claims.
The territories in question here, are indeed unclaimed - but not unwanted. This I tried so hard to explain to the arranger of "autistland", he thought they didn't want the land - because it was uninspiring/unproductive/muddy/boring, while it has nothing to do with that - 99,99% of Norwegian territory is unproductive mud and rock. What happens in Croatia-Serbia border, is an overlap - or an opposite, an un-lap? They are two different border proposals, where some portions overlap - and some portions do not take part of either Croatia or Serbia, and become unintentional "no-mans-lands"

This is a low-priority issue, but it is still active, and both Croatia and Serbia would prefer to see this issue closed.
A similar issue exists between Egypt and Sudan, and similar adventurers have gone there to create their own little republics :D

So, I finally bought myself the PS4. Found a reason to get out of the house, and hang w a friend who is also buying a PS4, on account of his previous melting, on account of an oven-curtain-fire that blazed out of control, that he had to panickedly fight with an extinguisher. I laughed.

Back home, I realize my tv doesn't have a HDMI entry.

So, mom agrees to drive me to a supermarket a bit away, since I don't have a car. I get one of the "medium sized" ones from the store, and take it home, and realize it's fucking huge compared to my small flat. On page 1 in the instruction, it advises me that I'm going to need a screwdriver.

So, got a set of screwdrivers. And wowsa, half my flat consists of tv. Still not able to get it online, hardware issues, I also don't recieve any HD tv, but hey, tremendous fuckin tv. Maaan I suck at ps controls, I drive like... a good drunk, I aim like a robo-dancer, it's horrible. I better get better at this...

I may buy a PS4..... when the PS5 comes out.

Why can't bad experiences in life just stay as isolated experiences? why do they need to have aftermaths even after you decide to get over them some shit just comes back to fuck you over again.... Most definitely that's the last time I ever work with people without making sure they aren't complete shitheads with even less capacity to organize their time than me and have a huge ego to booth.

ALSO, the new Joker looks downright retarded.

That's the Hot Topicker, I guess they are gonna take the "Suicide" part of "Suicide Squad" from a different angle.

The previous Joker sortof settled what the fans want: Black eye-makeup, smudged Marilyn Manson-esque lipstick, all in all - a totally goth-rocker look.

Now we get Goth Rocker Joker II

Clown Kobain was pretty try hard, what with reffering to his make up as "War paint" without even a hint of Irony or anything. But at least he didn't have a "damaged" tattoo on his forehead, or what seems to be a "THUG" tattoo on his belly....

Getting a ps4, with it not having backwards compatibility, and the shitty library it has now? I mean, I would've said a ps3 was worth it instead because it has mgs and rdr and shit but now that I have one I can't be arsed to play it so eh. Experiences vary, I'm just going through a non-gaming phase.

A PS4 is looking better and better for me. I usually wait until they have a shit load of good games before taking the plunge and buying a new console. Mortal Kombat X, Arkham Knight, Final Fantasy 15, Bloodborne, MGS5, Kingdom Hearts 3, No Mans Sky, Persona 5, and a few other titles make it likely that I will buy one at some point. I'm still content with my PS3, Wii U, and pc for now. Something that always factors in is my shit internet, so online only games don't appeal to me as much, which is a big fucking bummer, I tell you what.

Final Fantasy 15, Arkham Knight, MGS5, and No Mans Sky are gonna be released on PC, and Persona 5 is gonna come out for ps3 (the ps4 version was planned afterwards, thus the delay) so really, only game it has is Bloodborne.

Yeah, which is why I can wait a little longer. I don't use my pc for games that require a good graphics card though, so for stuff like Arkham Knight, I use a console. Part of this is due to my internet being shitty, so I don't want to download 50 gigabytes worth of shit just to play a game I can buy out of the box, with a several gigabyte patch most likely anyway. Buggy games and frequent patches have made this a bit pointless in some regards but it generally works alright for me. Plus I don't feel like upgrading my pc right now, so I can't really push the games graphically enough to bother getting them for pc. I like local play for fighting games, so consoles win out in that regard as well. Overall it amounts to exclusives, when they rarely do come out, being the reason I still game on consoles. I bought a PS3 just to play games like MGS4, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, likewise with the Wii U, for Mario, Zelda, StarFox, Smash, Fatal Frame, etc..

I use my pc for games like Civilization 5, Indie stuff, games that are better with mods, cRPG's, RTS, retro stuff, and so on. I think Witcher 2 ran a little too choppy on max settings for me to enjoy Witcher 3 the same way, so that is where I'm coming from on that I think. I COULD use my pc, but I also like some of the options the PS4 has, like bumming games off of my friends after they are done with them, who also all own PS4's now.

A long about way of saying I like to do both I guess.

Edit: You are absolutely right though. I don't see any must have games (other than listed) even up until the end of the year. I don't care for Uncharted.

PC games can be also bought in Boxes tho. But I see your point, still I would say that with 400 dollars you can upgrade your PC.

I did buy the PS3 for the Persona games and such, pretty cheap because it's used and bought it on december last year.

Yeah, well neither of you retards play Legend of Zelda I guess either. :V

Exclusives bro. Not to mention shitty pc ports. Am I right? I have found that most jRPG's aren't on pc too.

Yeah, Wasteland 2 out of the box needed a 10 gigabyte patch. It was a bitch. I guess to further clarify I love consoles of all kinds, whether they be SNES, Dreamcast, or PS1 so I buy them whether they are superior or not. I have my Wii for all the Resident Evil Gamecube games they ported over. The Wii U is strictly for exclusives. Did I mention the exclusives? I know I can skip Xbox though since nearly all of their games will be ported to pc.

I won't be upgrading my pc anytime soon, but I don't really need to since the games I like don't require much, like Divinity: Original Sin for instance.

P.S. Fuck Steam.

Yeah we don't play all those Zelda games that come out every year and justify purchasing a console just for it. Oh wait they only make like 1 or 2 of those per console and the last one sucked.... Also I have a 3Ds dude, I can control the universe.

I liked Skyward Sword and you suck. I scoff at your notion that I am not enjoying my Wii U for purposes other than Zelda.
