People will really be surprised with
Antman I think. The things he can do are very visually...exotic I want to say. The world when viewed from his perspective is awesome, really, check out the concept art they released.
I'm telling you. Michael Douglas is going to be a really good Pym. He brings a certain gravitas to the role. Rudd is going to surprise people. The relationship with his daughter, him having to steal to take care of her, is going to different. It's going to be a heist movie, so you can imagine how it will go down.
The original Antman, Pym, was a brilliant scientist. Scott Lang, Rudd's character, was originally a criminal simply to save his daughter, but then he ended up stealing Pym's suit, then later working with Pym to redeem himself, which is kinda what they might do with the movie. Some people might think the ant thing is lame, but once you see Wasp and Giantman fight alongside the Avengers then you will know true nerd bliss.

As for
Avengers 2...I have many predictions.
We will learn that Loki's (Thanos) scepter, which Baron Von Strucker is using to control the Twins, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, is an infinity stone. Some nerds thought it was just powered by the Cube(Tesseract) one of the other infinity stones, but that is not the case. The stone on top of the scepter has to be either Mind or Soul. I think Mind would be logical since it controlled Hawkeye and Selvig. The Soul stone should be used to introduce Warlock, which is necessary for the GotG storyline, Thanos, Drax, Warlock, and pretty much the entire Infinity Gauntlet(War)storyline.
I think the Mind stone will be used a lot in Avengers 2. It may even be responsible for Ultron is some small way. We should be introduced to Wakanda as well, since Serkis appears to be playing Ulysses Klaw. So we may see Black Panther in some shape or form. I would expect we will get a lot of clue to the upcoming Civil War arc too. Expect a lot of fallout from Ultron wrecking the world because of Stark's Iron Legion, and the big fight between Hulk and the Hulkbuster suit.
There will be something interesting behind Hawkeye's absence in Winter Soldier too. He was not present during the entire Hydra takeover, so he was up to something. So we are leading up to the big battle against Thanos, the stones are slowly being revealed. Time, Mind, and Soul remain. I think one will be introduced in Doctor Strange. Soul
should be in
GotG 2, but I may be wrong.
The Inhumans movie could very well introduce an Infinity Stone, but that is too far along for me to predict atm. I do know they will have their hidden city Attilan either in the Himalayas or on the moon. Their origins are tied to the Kree which were introduced in
GotG and is tied to Captain Marvels origins. If you speak nerd the pieces fall into place...
Captain Marvel is the wild card here. I don't know how they are going to introduce her. Her movie is in-between the two Avengers: Infinity War movies. The female Captain Marvel(Ms. Marvel), Carol Danvers, will most likely be used, but she wasn't the first Captain Marvel, so I'm thinking they will introduce the original Captain Marvel, who was Kree, then have him give his powers to her. Something like that anyway. It is too similar to the
Green Lantern movie, but I think they can handle it well.
Anyway...you should be excited for
Antman because he rocks.
