General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut and Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain. Since I only played the main Metal Gear Solid games, I don't really know what going on in Phantom Pain. It feels kinda odd to actually play a MGS game instead of watching it.

Trying to get to Hollow Knight's second ending.

I have to clear a level that looks coming straight out from Super Meat Boy, so it'll be a while.

Finishing another Planescape - Torment run, for good measure.
Went through The Banner Saga 1 and 2 recently. Great music, impressive graphics, and shitty gameplay. Very simple game mechanics-wise, filthy mobile market ruined it all..

I can't stop playing Zelda long enough to do my Sunless Sea LP. :D

There were so many good games on sale too, but I need to pay bills. Thing is I'm afraid to look at them. I think I just won't pay them anymore.

I'm not a big fan of Zelda since back in the days and i don't really have an urge to play them. BUT! I saw something neat in a gif last night. If you find a dog and crouch and walk in circles the dog will start chasing it's tail. Was quite cool to see!

Also picking up a chicken and letting a dangerous enemy hit you/the chicken and then see him get wrecked by chickens :P

Edit: Playing some Obscure. Really feels like a resident evil clone with the gameplay and cheesy lines. It feels a bit too easy right now since you could only start on normal but w/e. Going to finish it and then head over to Obscure 2 i think.

Also started Alien isolation but fullscreen windowed doesn't work and even before the game really starts i got bored because i don't want to play another stealth game any time soon. Will finish it sooner or later but i did not feel like it now.

The dogs do that normally that guy was just being retarded. This Zelda is one that is converting people. If it was on a platform more people could play...it would be inescapable.

The one on snes and OOT was the only 2 i really got into. Majoras mask was good enough aswell but after that i haven't touched any of them.

Windwaker was fun to me because of the sailing. I really enjoyed that on the Gamecube and the Wii U version was even better.

Been Playing Dragon Ball Fusions on the 3DS, it's fun and mindless, it's always exciting to see what neew Fusion scouting new Party members unlocks and the combat system is really fun and unique.

I finally started playing Dark Souls on my PC back home...
This is probably the most addictive game I've ever played. Addictive might not be a proper word, but the feeling it offers, the way you are rewarded for your time and effort...damn.
And the games itself is breathtaking, I really love the design of, well, everything.

I'm really happy that this game left such a big mark on modern gaming - its influence really should endure and I'm happy I've seen/played titles which were obviously influenced by this game and which are great on their own.

Too bad I can't play it on my laptop in the student apartment and need to wait for another visit back home. Or maybe that's for the best, I'd fail my studies.

Sterling gave BotW a fucking 7. I hope he dies of a heart attack in the next few years.

Numerical scores are pointless and idiotic anyway.
Also Sterling is the guy who bitched and cried because Fallout 4 was rightfully criticized for being shit so who even pays his shit any attention?

It just lowered the Metacritic over his nonsense is all. It was the best reviewed game of all time. Half his complaints were stupid.

Picked up Lego City Undercover for the kids, been playing for about an hour and half. Probably going to play it more than they do lol.

I knew he was going to be that guy, the man hates stamina meters and he hates weapon durability. I honestly think he made up his mind about it before he ever touched the game.

Best comment about Nintendo no longer using manuals of any kind.

"Maybe Nintendo recognizes now that the people who would appreciate an instruction manual are now all adults, and we no longer get to read the instruction booklet in anticipation as our parents drive us home. Maybe if they did have instruction manuals, I’d call my mom and have her drive me to the store so I could jump excitedly as the store clerk opens the glass case.

The game cases are like me now. A mostly hollow, Fragile shell with a tiny bit of escapism inside."

Anyone remember Test Drive: Eve of Destruction? It was probably the best demo derby game out there. A nice variety of cars, mostly from the 70's. Different kinds of tracks from farmland to industrial areas to a theme park.

30+ races to choose from, each with their own gimmick. You can do things like the Suicide Race where half the track races head on into the other half (which I'm not even sure is performed IRL considering how deadly it'd be) and the Gaunlet where you drive a hearse for five laps as everyone tries to wreck you. The Figure-8 Jump Race was always my favorite.

I am back to new vegas. Fresh install of mods, which have taken me a day and a half so far. And I am still not done.

Besides that, I have not played anything else. I mean, I have got a few games in my steam library, but nothing caught my eye.

Played a bit of Far Cry 3, got bored after a few hours. Too much pointless exploring and not my kind of game.

In fact, I have watched more anime recently than played actual games.
