General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

End of the Age of Manuals. I think they died with PC boxes.

Well not entirely. Some times you get a surprise here or there.

Warming up for the last Dark Souls III. It costed me waay too much, and ended repeating my favourite build in no sight of something else. I have a hard time enjoying it myself, sadly.

Solo rushed the Dancer at SL30 though, for me chunks.

And in the calm game inbetwenn, I was doing a Stellaris Hard Ironman run, but got greedy and lost. Will wait for Utopia for the next try.

Been spending a bit too much time on Day of infamy, The game is the best WW2 shooter in a long long time! Also the first early acesse game i didn't want refunded, Not to mention the hefty price tag of 18 euro or 12 as i gave.. Wish included insurgency!

Been playing the old Neverwinter Nights game. I am not playing the actual game campaigns but fan made modules.

No, it's a non issue. They are complaining about early game weapons breaking, when they are rusty, made of wood, or being used against high level enemies like Guardians. That fat fuck gave Fallout 4 glowing reviews.

Weapons do break relatively easy early on, but you also get plenty of weapons in return which you can throw for double damage before they break, alongside other methods such as stealth, arrows, environmental stuff, shields, parrying...I mean it is almost like half the people bitching didn't play the game or suck. At the endgame I end up having more weapons than I know what to do with. It is beyond infuriating to see morons run amok but hey this is a Fallout fan site so we know all about that.

I think that Dark Link inspired invasons/Phantoms at an extent, actually. Watching a video of Dark link showing up across some of the installments, it recalls me a lot of that.

Monochrome shadowy enemies, don't talk, materializes from nothing...

Some of these critics are fucking blind and double fucking standard. Especially after fallout 4 seems so dumb. However critics do have an right to an opion so yeah thats that. Don't agree with the death threats this guy has been sent. Do i personally think breath of the wild is 10/10 no because no game should be 100% or fuck me I would see my xbox and laptop just to get a switch to play it

Just felt like pointing out how the 3 biggest releases this year have all been Open World games set in post apocalyptic envirorments where the main character has to unearth ancient Hi tech ruins with the help of a gizmo.

Oh gaming...

I got back to Monster Girl Quest Paradox, now that most of the plot is complete in the first part. It is really well done jRPG, even though it is still porn game.

However, the story and the characters make up for it. It is also fairly complex with many different races, jobs and spells. Still turn based, but I like it this way.

Besides not much.

Playing Dishonored 2, might I add I love the Clockwork Mansion level, simply so much fun. I got a digital copy of Dishonred definitive edition to boot. Playing as Emily then replaying 1 and then replay 2 as Corvo

I have been playing Command and Conquer Renegade again.
It is a very simplistic game now and even when it was released it looked outdated, but still I have so much damn fun with it that I have not had for a while with a lot of games that have been released these last couple of years. Just good simple FPS action.

I also still love being able to go through the world of C&C1 in FPS mode, being able to see or ride vehicles and go into buildings of the game. (I actually like the redesigned units of C&CR over the originals)

I wish a sequel had been made to this game.

Unfortunate it was quite a bitch to get to work due to some patching Microsoft has done to Windows 7 to fill some leaks. Unfortunate as a result games that use DRM like Securom can no longer run on it.

It took me some time to find a working copy of the game but this one sadly does not have the pre rendered cutscenes between the missions.

I liked Dark Reign which came out around the time of C&C. It seems hardly anyone remembers it these days.

If you like the multiplayer you should check this out. https://renegade-x.com/ i don't think they added single player tho.

KKND was my shit back in the days.

Never played it. Looks kinda neat.

It is kinda awesome TBH. KKND 2 is more of a silly game but still good. KKND Extreme was probably my favorite as it added elite units. Aka units could lvl up and be a bit stronger etc, I think it was normal > blue > red.
The games are also on GOG i think.
