General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

There have been times in the past Walpknut that I wondered if people who did not like Fallout 1 and 2 because the games were isometric and had turned based combat that they were left out from enjoying something that other people did.
And that those games would only come to their proper right when the people who could not stand these in their original form could finally play them.

Kind of the same with Star Trek, many people considered Star Trek 2009 "Finally a good Star Trek", but apparently could never give a rat's ass about the television series or the movies that came before it, disliking it because the characters in general tried to resolve issues through diplomacy or science and there weren't enough battles like in Star Wars.

Do these people honestly feel denied?

I've gotten my hands on Invisible, INC and Children Of A Dead Earth. Both good games that appeal to my picky nature. Invisible, INC is also a turn-based, Isometric game, so there's that.

I have been playing Extermination on the PS2.
It is an okay Resident Evil clone in general, only having a few issues such as the character mouth/voice synchronization. (like RE the plot is a bit ridiculous and predicable here)
But I really wish the designers had used the secondary analogue stick for camera control. I have to fight some beast which only weak spot is its back, it doesn't matter if you run around it and yet still can not shoot it because it takes time for the camera to turn automatically.

I sadly can't play Wolfenstein BOA chapter 2. It is weird that a game using a modified Doom engine can still cause for slowdowns on relative modern computers.

I feel tempted to buy a buddy Nekopara as a Joke, tell him to check his inventory and as he tells me to get fucked I also gift him Xcom Enemy within, but that would be kind of an expensive joke. Hmmmm what to do.

The Longst Journey: One of my favorite point and click games! Haven't played it in like 10 years and besides that it has ages really hard i still love it!

Dreamfall the longest journey: Dear god.. I forgot how bad the combat was. Thankfully it is optional most of the times and not that common. Feels like it was rushed but still great for the story.

Resident evil operation raccoon city: Could be fun with 3 friends but solo? No.. The ai was horrible AND GFWL = refund :)

Now i'm about to try all the Mount & blade games. Bundle ftw!

You should play Dino Crisis 2 next.

I'm kinda bored, and looking for an RPG to play. Anyone got any suggestions?

I've already played most on the 50 RPGs list.

Demon's Souls never comes to my mind. I don't have a PS3, and of all the people I know who has one, nobody has Demon's Souls. I've also never seen it in any gaming store in my country, ever, and I've visited most of them.
I don't think it ever got to the market here. Same goes for Dark Souls, I've only seen it in stores after Prepare to Die was released, and it was fairly limited. Same goes for DS2/Scholar.
I think DS3 is the first one that I've seen sold massively and throughout the country.

Currently playing stellaris, bought it cheap and the first dlc for 40% discount on steam. The game without mods is too easy.

I remember how I got trapped between xenophobic fallen empire and spiritualist, who hated my guts.

First colony was lost and then it was all over. Then I had good neighbours and got so much cash, thatvI didn't know how to spend it.

Good game, but a bit empty right now.

Ediros, ever heard of Enclaves?

Yeah, with Bloodborne and DS3 Bamco gave a lot more boom to marketing, and it's been long enough for critics and other personalities to grow on it.

I only got them now, with the dlc. They are good investments. Now I can use all those minerals.

Oh right, they are Leviathans only. Anyway, they're really solid bros for the overpowered state. Until they put a buff based on overcharge like it now happens with Food, you can just dump your dosh. Although funding Sectors as also a good idea, now that I think of it. Especially now that they're piggybanks.

I am enjoying Wolfenstein. Been yelling "STICK AROUND!" everytime I throw a kinfe and kill a Nazi, because I speak out loud when I play videogames by myself.

I've been in a bit of a retro mood recently so I booted up Robocop Vs. Terminator. Don't ask me why. I recall renting it as a child for the SNES. It appears that is the shit version to play though so I plan on trying the Genesis version soon. Speaking of which I want the new SNES Classic. I won't try hard to get it though. If I come across one I might buy one otherwise I will just finish my emulator box.
