GTA V

Hmmm, GTA IV wasn't hard at all. It was just right. Any of you guys have played Liberty City Stories? Now that was hard, it was also one of the funniest GTA's ever:

As for characters in GTA IV, my favorites had to be the Irish guys. They were really awesome.

Indeed. Although it was sad that Pakie reminded me of my brother in law :(

Although that bank robbery bit was waaay overly difficult

The main difficulties in IV that I encountered were to do with the mechanics, especially the cover system which was practically broken. In particular one of the last missions in Gay Tony when you're being attacked in the nightclub...oh the number of times I died there...

Really glad they fixed it for Red Dead. Hand to hand still needs work.

Thinking back, actually, one of the most horrendously difficult missions I can recall was in VC, having to beat Hilary in a race in order for him to join you for the bank job. That took dozens of tries and was only passed by pure chance when he crashed into oncoming traffic.

Amen to that! It took me some time to beat that fella. The mission where you had to jump from one building to the next one with a bike was also difficult. I got that solved with the helicopter at police station though. :P

I have never ever beaten Hilary. In fact I quit playing Vice City because of it.Loved that Saber GT though.I wish that was a real car! :D

The trailer looks OK, but I don't see that much of an improvement from GTA IV. The graphical quality and detail aren't very impressive (although I did expect something better), the animation is still kind of stiff (and that's considering it's a trailer!). Los Santos looks pretty cool though, perhaps we might even be able to fly jets and travel in countryside.

Hopefully the gameplay and a plausible story make up those flaws.

Was it LC Stories that had the Smash TV minigame in the ship where you ran around in the hockey mask and chainsaw? That was great. I think that and VC stories also improved the insta-death water, yeah?

Slight change in topic, but just wanted to mention Bully, one of my all time favourite Rockstar games. Would love a sequel one day

Because the cops only chase you, not him. The game cheats, which is what makes it so frustrating. But it's beatable once you know the timing and get a little lucky.

Don't think that's even the hardest mission in VC. The hardest, in my opinion, is the one where you have to control those miniplanes to destroy those gangsters who then try to escape in boats. Maybe it's just me never figuring out the controls, but the horrendous plane controls (compared to SA) is what made this one all but impossible

The animations are stiff? :?

Rockstar is one of the very few studios who do animations right.

While I agree that animations were somewhat nice, they still need some improvement. I mean, when you look at them, it still looks a bit foolish and cartoonish and not real-life.

I read on Wikipedia that part of the game might take place in Vice City, but I can't find that section of text anymore, so I"m going to assume its a rumor and pray that it's true.

But overall the game looks great! I hope for another bank robbery mission (seeing as how it was my favorite mission in IV), maybe something out of Heat, the last big heist in that movie is amazing.

Also Bank Robbery mode in MP, please. And Bomb da Base again

It's certainly possible, remember how San Andreas had that one mission that took place in Liberty City? It was sort of pointless though.

Still something to look forward too. I'm hoping that it'l be more than one mission. If it is true, I hope it's like a prelude to his "old life", like his last big score before he turned straight.

I bought the GTA IV and I was really disappointed because the security b.s. This code, that code, install this, install that, go to this website and that website, make account everywhere, connect to here, get a password there.

When I finally started the game, it messed up my Fallout 3 install and then even the F3 connected to websites for savings and such.
