The point I’m trying to make is that you have a warped perspective on America that couldn’t be farther from the truth. To hear you tell it, every city is Detroit. Yet, as I’ve said, NH lets you own literally anything including a flamethrower and is the third safest state in the US. That’s saying A LOT. I put it in all emphasis because it seems like you gloss over anything that doesn’t contribute to confirmation bias. Again, @MutantScalper i love yeh, please don’t ever doubt that, I’m just saying you know Jack diddly fucking dick about America and how it works.

I agree with him too. I would find charts of how other countries compare to America in terms of mass shootings, but I'm too lazy. There's plenty out there if you're interested.

That official version was decided by officers. Maybe those officers lied? Maybe those same officers deceived their superiors? Again, you have to prove the way the institution is run, is racist. Saying what one can and cannot do, treating someone different based ONLY on their race, would be racism.

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree. IMO, unless the 'institution' itself is racist, then it will always just be a few officers. I bet you besides those few, the rest of the department you spoke of earlier are not racist. If the rest of the department is not racist, how can you claim that specific institution is racist? When you claim 'institutional' racism, you are accusing the ENTIRE department of racism, not just a few officers in the department.

I feel somebody needs to address MutantHumper's colossal fuckery. Specifically in regards to American wars in Asia. The US funded, trained and fought side-by-side with Asians. If you don't know who ARVN and ROK Army are then you probably shouldn't open your mouth without looking like an ignorant asshole. As far as the Japanese, I've lived and traveled around Asia for many years. Every country I've been to besides Japan, has monuments celebrating they day they were liberated from Japanese rule in WWII and marking the oppression under Japanese occupation. To make the war in the Pacific about killing Asians takes an stupefying degree of ignorance.

I'd love to have a gun. Not for home defense or self defense or whatever, I feel plenty safe here. I want a Colt 1911 and while I'd shoot it from time to time I'd probably just field strip it over and over again because that gun is just aesthetically pleasing to me.

Also, nice choice; I’d love a Browning Hi-Power 9mm. And as for gun “control”: arms extended, knees slightly bent, hips slightly leaning forward, sights pointed at target. Gun is controlled.

I guess the reason I’m so opposed to gun control is because I’ve been around them my whole life; I don’t find them scary, and they’re not this weird evil thing to me. I’ve shot everything from a Remington to my dads AK to a Beretta, and I can tell you that the firearm is a tool; it is not, in and of itself, any more dangerous than a kitchen knife. The intent of who is holding it makes all the difference. And taking guns from the hands of good people doesn’t take them from the hands of bad ones. Hell, I’m pretty sure they’d just make zip guns anyways, or switch to nail bombs even if you somehow DID get that kind of fascist idiocy to work. I mean, look at the IRA.
