what a crock that article is. Colt has been over charging for poor quality for years and it finally caught up to them and pushed them out of the market, since you could get a rifle with the same quality of a Colt AR-15 for hundreds of dollars cheaper. They lost their US Military contract to FN for that very reason.

When there’s a kid running with scissors, you teach them not to run with scissors. You don’t take the scissors away forever and tell them “ShArP oBjEcTs ArE bAd!!1!” because the kid never fucking learns, they resent you for your overprotectiveness.

You don’t have to be a teacher to teach people about basic common sense. Listen, I’ll concede on a mandatory safety course before owning a firearm if you really wanna do that. But just going “FUCK YOU YOU CANT HANDLE IT” and taking it away only causes irritation to people like me who resent being punished for the mistakes of others.
