Gun Control

Everyone should stream lead straight into their bone marrow and jump up and down a flight of stairs.

And who was it here that said repubtards wouldn't do anything if the government went all tyrannical?

Yes the fools misread the bill but they WILL DEFEND their rights.

Big pro- and anti-gun protests about to go down in Virginia. Gun folks are there in large numbers totin' guns 'n stuff.

Gun folks. I dress like that, sort of. Minus the military helmet, military vest, M-14 (I think), etc. Look how tacti-cool these guys are. :D

Supreme cringe. Now I like surplus stuff for hiking and outdoors as much as the next guy (the british 58 pattern webbing has nice kidney pouches and the canteen holder fits a common 1l bottle, which is kinda good for cycling for example, if you want to carry some extra tubes and tools and a little bit of food, but no actual backpack), but hanging around with a full-on tactical vest with all sorts of shit is just too much.

The M14 is a sweet rifle, though. It's one of those weapons that I find appealing for aesthetic and mechanical reasons, like the M1911 and the SKS Simonov.

This is the old crap webbing I had, they have a newer version now. Carrying an Apilas, a French made anti-tank RPG that I saw fired.

Gas mask was in one of those back pockets.

How come nobody since the Nazis could make jackboots work again? They always look like shitty Wellingtons (I guess those in your picture are actually Wellingtons, though).

The NVA did it somewhat decently because they basically took the uniform shape from the Wehrmacht and used shittier materials and helmets, but their jackboots were also scarred leather and had rubber soles.

I guess the Wehrmacht just had the best combination of uniform cut and boots and helmet.

Anyway, if I were to ever live in the US and have a ranch or something, or be in the situation where it would make sense for me to have a gun, I'd do so. Something like a Ruger Mini Thirty or whatever.

Because like a lot a things, fashionable uniforms are one of the things the Nazis ruined. Also turns out having giant shiny black boots makes you stick out a lot.

You say that until you realize how much better the AR-15 aftermarket is and you aren't being screwed over on mag costs.

Last I heard the antigun people weren't going to show up.

The Nazis had Hugo Boss, duh.

A lot of things that followed the rule of cool were ruined by those national socialists.

Even to this day, many military helmets look an very alike to those Stahlhelms.

And yea, very cringe worthy that those tacti cool guys look like dorks. Load bearing vests, radio holders, etc, those are tools for a job, not a goddamned fashion statement.

You just aren't thinking in a utilitarian method. you say radio holder, I say beef Jerky dispenser. you say 40mm grenade holster, I say Monster Energy Drink carrier.

High leather boots might be ok for parade marching but in a field/war situation, why would you want them? They are heavier than rubber/synthetic materials.

Field boot used now. The high rubber boots are still in use, there's a summer rubber boot and a winter rubber boot.

Don't mean to advertise but for the info.

They might be good if you go up them Alp mountains you got over there.

I hear the Stahlhelm is a heavy P.o.S. If someone has a hard on for one then get one and wear it every day.

For sure, modern combat boots are simply better. But some still use those jackboots and they always look shit.
Current german combat boot is this:

Current german combat boot, I have a pair and they're great.

If I buy German or central or southern European boots or shoes, the soles just tend to be slippery in our winter. So I kind of don't buy them anymore. You can use attachable spike-thingies at the bottom of your shoes in winter to give traction but I don't use those.

Yeah, I felt that these get a bit slippery on snow, but the last pair I had was worse. But our winter here is a lot less snowy than yours.

I think some people really thought the demonstration at Richmond would somehow turn into the Boogaloo. Don't know why it would.
