Also, weren't you anti-government overreach like 10 minutes ago?
nope. i was appalled by violation of free speech.

the right to do drugs and be a drain on society is a right that does not exist.

so if the government cracked down on DEMAND as hard as they did SUPPLY then the whole problem would cease to exist.

and what better way to crack down than the complete and total removal of druggies and pushers from the equation?

I wouldn’t be here today if that system was in place and I think we both know it.
you're on record of saying that doing drugs made you feel worse about yourself and there's no way in hell it helped your situation.

i do not mean to be harsh here but drugs are in no way a positive influence on anyone.

What about the people who smoke pot?
i'm speaking more of heroine and meth. which is mostly what i grew up around. all i've ever seen someone do on pot is order a pizza.

still if you're on welfare and test positive for any drugs you should be rejected.

Also, R.Graves, for the record that policy would literally be genocide. I don't care how bad drugs are, you're still talking about murdering nearly 10% of the US population.

@R.Graves it didn’t help. But it stopped the pain, if only for a bit. And that was what I thought I needed at the time. It was stupid, I’m not denying that. I’m just saying that the threat of death wouldn’t have deterred someone as desperate as I was.

well we're not exactly talking about an innocent population here. when you get down to it its just your basic execution of criminal elements.
The US has stopped using the death penalty for almost all crimes.

I will agree with this statement. I will never understand why people turn to drugs because they are having a hard time, and especially not when they are well aware of what they do. There are other options besides drugs.

And no offense to Aure. At the time he did understand why he did it, but I don't.

Sometimes people make mistakes, and then they get addicted and are unable to stop. It doesn't mean they deserve to die.

Listen, Graves, I’m gonna be fucking blunt. I feel I’m entitled because I was hit by a goddamned car today and earned the right to speak my mind at the very least.

You sound fucking insane. You don’t wanna kill criminals, you wanna kill people like me. And if you wanna kill me then please, by all means, do it. But first tell me what in the holy fuck I ever did to you, and why I deserve to die for people who hurt you in your past who were addicts.

I’ll be honest, I’ve no will to live. But some former addicts do. Some, unlike me, have families. Lives, and people who give a shit. No one would shed any tears if you offed me, but others? There’d be a fucking uproar and rightfully so.

which doesn't make the most sense.
Thanks. Really. Feel loved, here.
look. i like you dude. but you gotta understand. i was raised by drug addicts. i was around drugs for most of my formative years. nowhere i looked was there ANY kind of upside. there was this girl we harbored for awhile. she didn't speak. she flinched at everything. she was beat near to death for snitching on her BF. my mom was on meth. we frequently went hungry so they could feed their habits. no one had a job. surviving on food stamps and welfare. if someone used a bit more than someone else a fight broke out. there would always be blood. people would turn on each other in an instant. we had roaches and lived in squalor.

the proposed system would outright remove the possibility of this scenario happening to other kids. and dude just because we lose a few hundred thousand nobodies to achieve that? its worth it.

You don’t wanna kill criminals, you wanna kill people like me

in this case people and criminals are one and the same.

look i've said my piece. i think its totally valid so long as you don't get caught up on "but muh morals."

because from my view this ultimately removes one of the worlds most prominent blights in an incredibly effective way.

I quoted Graves telling him that opinion was ridiculous, but I guess he missed that one. Mary Jane shows up on drug tests too. I've smoked it before, as does almost everyone I know. Do I and these people deserve to die for it? Come on!

Try 30 million nobodies.

Nobodies like me. People you know. Not nobodies when they’re your friends, Graves.
two things.

1. you're not currently a drug addict
2. as time goes on executions will become less and less needed until they're mostly just insurance.

being a addict is a choice. all these people would have to do is make the right one.

the system would either improve lives or end them. and the choice is totally up to the individual.

to me, that's justified.
Try 30 million nobodies.
good that's enough people that'd help the population problem to boot.

Graves by your logic I’d have been killed WHEN I WAS. That’s the point. I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY, arguing this retardation with you.

This. A thousand times this. I'm sorry.

@R.Graves. You do realize that you're advocating fucking genocide here, just as @yfk12 pointed out? What in your mind gives you the idea that this is a viable solution? Alcohol can be just as bad a drugs. I like to get drunk once in awhile. Do you think this should have the same penalty?

Dude, this is not a matter of debating an opinion, you are straight-up wrong. Your life has been shitty, I get it, so has mine and I'm sorry for that tidbit, but suggesting that people be picked off the streets and killed because they made the wrong choice is borderline psychotic. Actually, it is psychotic.

Again Graves, we don't even give the death penalty to murderers.
good that's enough people that'd help the population problem to boot.
Don't take this the wrong way, but are you a sociopath? I'm genuinely curious.

Graves, I’m having OD flashbacks. This conversation triggered the fuck out’ve my PTSD. I know you probably don’t give any sort of fuck about me, but I would like this conversation to stop. Now.

Graves by your logic I’d have been killed WHEN I WAS. That’s the point. I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY, arguing this retardation with you.
you would be if you realized the situation and shaped up.

look drugs are absolutely horrible and they ruin the mind body and soul. they took my childhood. they took my mother. they took my father. and they've basically taken over my entire home town. there is no good to be found here.

if the proposed system would remove such an objectively horrible blight on the world then you're not gonna convince me it wouldn't be worth it. unless you proved to me that it just outright wouldn't work. we've got a master vs vault dweller situation here.

i respect your guys' opinions and believe me i understand that my position is borderline evil. all i'm saying is it would be well worth it for future generations.

and once again, because doing drugs is a choice its all up to the individual. like murder. speaking of,
Again Graves, we don't even give the death penalty to murderers
well that's good because a murder suspect could always be absolved and proven innocent later. drug addict? you can see it on their face.
Don't take this the wrong way, but are you a sociopath? I'm genuinely curious.
haven't been diagnosed with anything except ADHD and Depression.

I know you probably don’t give any sort of fuck about me,
untrue. you're a valued member of the NMA community. i'd notice if you'd gone missing.
but I would like this conversation to stop. Now.
no problem man. i'm really sorry if i've mad you fell like shit.

and hey, dude, congrats again on getting clean. i'm proud of you. and you should be proud too.
