im ignoring personal attacks now. My favorite Rpgs are Earthbound(mother/zero) and Shadowrun returns is a fucking cool as shit. I looked at Wastelands 2 but *shrugs* , Jagged alliance is amazing too but its way too hard for any of my friends to play. That being said i love modding, Quake made me fall in love with that aspect of gaming. Fallout 4 is gonna be like that soon. Modding will soon be mainstream and glorious. 2016 will be the year of Champions.

This is the first website I have seen where if an obvious troll shit-posts all over the place with intense diarrhea of the keyboard, the people attempt to debate him rather than ignore/ban him.
I think that's a good thing. The keyboard diarrhea makes for good reading, and they don't get the satisfaction of claiming we're all banning people who disagree with us, even though they clearly have Keyboard Diarrhea Syndrome.

This community simply doesn't give much about you. To harsh? Well sorry then! But we don't suggar coat it. We can tolerate people with different opinions even, there are a couple of people here that love Fallout 3 and enjoy Fallout 4. That's no problem for us. But I can tell that you won't have a very long half-life here, so why should any of us Uranium-235 and Pu40 atoms care about such phuny isotopes like you, wandering in, with a half-life of a couple of 10[SUP]−12[/SUP] seconds.

1. I enjoyed the crafting system for the most part. Unfortunately, many of the guns are too heavy (and can double in weight from modding) and some don't look good. And the Ballistic Weave upgrade is ridiculously overpowered.
2. Compared to 3 and NV, Power Armor felt much better to use though it feels that they still get damaged by mid-tier weapons too easily compared to 1 and 2. Probably because Bethesda only uses DR without using DT as well. Too bad the Fusion Cores, early availability, and overwhelming number of available frames make Power Armor less enjoyable than they otherwise could be.

As a Fallout game, it didn't do anything right.

I got around to playing it though and I gotta say that on its own merits as a shoot'n'loot game? It's really damn good.
The world doesn't feel like it is a dungeon themepark anymore. It really doesn't to me. A fish packing factory is just a fish packing factory. A cannery is just a cannery. Some dungeons are quite lengthy and others are quite small and then there are tons of inbetween degrees. A ton of locations have really good environmental storytelling. Hell, there was this raider gang who's leader, Red, had a sister that had been abducted by another raider gang. So anyway. I killed Red and her gang and later on, waaaay later on, I got around to dealing with the raiders that took her sister and in the leader's terminal it mentioned how "someone" had gone and wiped out Red and her gang. There are tons of small little details like this that Bethesda's gotten so damn right.
The gunplay also feels fun now. Sure, it's annoying with damage sponges and the weapons being named after their mods make looting weapons a fucking chore early on but eventually when you get the right perks and mods then on Survival difficult the gameplay is actually quite fun and I think that's because they've improved so much. The AI is better, the enemies are more varied, the tactics changes all the time depending on the enemy and it's just an all around fun shooting experience. If you want realistic combat then it isn't for you but fuck it, I enjoyed the shit out of Borderlands so Fallout 4 just feels like more of that in a way.

I'd say that this is the best game Bethesda's every made. With all other games of theirs there's come a time where I feel like the problems are outweighing how much I'm enjoying the game. But Fallout 4? I'm 65 hours into it and I'm having a blast.

Wait...the best game they've made? That goes to Daggerfall and Morrowind, Fallout 3 and 4 are absolute trash. The environmental storytelling is good but too bad they weren't competent enough to make a half decent main quest or side quests. About that AI, they're on Skyrim levels of stupid. They don't bother searching for you most of the time as well. Oh and the fact that they keep killing their buddies as well as themselves with their own grenades!

If it was another company that made competent games yes but this is Bethesda, they've been doing this kind of stuff since Oblivion and it's become a sort of trend for them. Though things like being able to have sex with robots and ghouls as well as perusing romance with them is super shocking.

Look nobody cares if you like the game, I mean hey that's great if you do and there are a few members that enjoy it around here too but they happen to understand its flaws. It's the "Fallout 4 is the best game in the Fallout series eva!" or "Fallout 4 is the best RPG with deeper characters and quests then 1, 2, New Vegas combined and innovates hardcore!" mentality.
