Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Greetings to all who come to bask in the warmth of NMA's radioactive tomfoolery. Thar be Deathclaws near, so watch your ass.

(:=o

Falloutdemo and Blue, you guys have some choice avatars. You'll fit in well.

Also howdy to all the other new guys. NMA can use some new blood, so thanks for coming over.

I'll go by Danza, or Pub. Pick one. Or the other, I don't really care.

This place is exciting and diverse, and even though I'm a new chap in an unfamiliar place. I hope my bright smile and beaming happiness will get me through the dark waters into acceptance. Or I'll die a fast, gruesome death and get looted for all of my whole 8 dollars and my broken 10mm pistol, trying to make a friend. Whichever choice you make, I'm happy to be here.

I'll take that over "incompetent" or "fuck face". Where I'm from, the majority of you would be known as "Good 'Ol Boys". Man, I wish text had an accent. Anyways, I'm just trying to escape my heritage, and this seems like the place to do it. I couldn't believe I found such a welcoming community, prospering on great values, and stomping out anyone who gets in the way of this place. I'm glad to even have the attempt of being part of it.

Yo I guess?

Quite a big Fallout fan, though I've seen myself steadily decline from playing games these past couple of years. Really stoked for the new Fallout (if it releases :I) hence me joining, lol.

Apart from that though, I'm 20; I love music, sports, business and gaming. I've only been on one forum before, but I'm a mod over there so I should know my way around without breaking 20 rules :/

Hey there peeps

I originated from bungie.net's offtopic forum as my home for many years but recently split off to an offsite for that but sort of miss the forum culture of talking to random people all the time. Always loved Fallout so I thought I'd give this place a go.

So many new guys, what made you drop by into this café of broken dreams NMA has become?

A cafe of broken dreams insinuates that this place is unlikely to be found, but if located one may come away with a heartwarming and life-altering companion... after suffering a "crash" in the process, unless one's life has been "patched up".

Or you're just using the colloquial term, in which case... yeah, what makes them come by? =D

Hello all, my name is Paul and i'm from the Netherlands.
Joined this forum to get more information of the Fallout game and feedback on some work i'm doing.
Currently busy with information on 3D Printing some Fallout props with my 3D printer. It's some sort of hobby, and I was wondering if you guys can give me some more advise on the looks of it.
Went to Dutch Comic Con few weeks ago and saw very few fallout cosplayers so there is not much information to find on the streets.
Will open a new thread when I'm starting with printing these things, will let you guys see how i'm doing.

Greetings from the Netherlands!

Hello and welcome to the meat grinder.

There is a Fan Art (or something) section of the forum which you should check out - many people have been making props over the years, so you should find some useful threads there. Just dig a bit.

ummmm, hi my name is Elijah, but most people (and i prefer to be called) Eren. and i have only played fallout 3, on xbox 360. and i want to play them all, but i really like the lore, so hi!

hey guys
im james, or asiantastic, or asian if you want. im a 17 year old kid from NC who's looking for a new community to join, because the forum that i was a part of for a few years is starting to die and i wanted to find a place that has similar interests as me.

Hello, I’m Sandhai. My Fallout career started in 2011 when I bought Fallout 3 and played it. I have to admit that it provided a decent amout of fun and therefore I wondered if New Vegas was worth playing. When I was looking for reviews of said game I learned that the fanbase of Fallout 1+2 is very critical of Bethesda’s Fallout 3 and I wanted to find out the reason for that. So I picked up Fallout 1+2 as well as New Vegas and started playing them while also doing some research on various forums (such as RPGCodex, NMA and many others) and I came to understand and share the criticism. Fallout 3 is a highly mediocre game at best. Sad but true.

Fallout 1+2 also have a special meaning to me because they were the games that got me interested in analyzing the design and history of CRPG’s.

I decided to register here because I hope to find out more about the lore of Fallout as well as the development history of the first two games.

Long time Fallout fan from Serbia here. I recently bought new computer so I was looking for Fallout based skin for winamp which I was using since always and search brought me here. I've been visiting forum ocasionally but don't know why I never registered before...
Anyway, cheerz all.

American Fallout fan from St. Louis. Known about NMA ever since I played Fallout 1 and 2 back in high school. Joined on a total whim because I want to talk about game design decisions. I Speak French for anyone interested in that.
