Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!

I dont know if this is gravediggin but i want to say i really like your pieces (ive seen lot worse "professional" artists) and keep up the work and practicing because youre never good enough.

Thanks.

And uh, technically, I am a "professional" artist.

   Wow, I'm stunned! Wooz, You are a superb artist! It's the style you got there I always loved and wanted to reach (one time, i hope.. :))

It's really professional. And i love how you build up the image. Thanks for the step to step viewing of your method/art. It is cool.

:D Really inspiring! (Got like an urge to try now, but ye, too late right now)

Superb skill, i gotta say.
Hope you'll post up more :) (especially step to steps ;) )

Whammo.

i hate the face, but i love the drawing. a little paradox right there, dunno why.

Yeah, something is odd about the face. I don't hate it, but it disturbs me. I love it when a drawing wakes such a feeling in me. Thumbs up, Woozster. 8>

You guys expected Scarlett Johansson? :D

And yes, success. I intended the face to be disproportionate and somewhat unquieting.

look into my eyes...

Pretty awesome I really like the shining in the eyes (don't know better suitable word maybe reflection, hope you know what I wanted to say)

well, tbfh, Scarlett Johansson was quite unnerving to me at first as well. i didn't really like her.

but she grew on me after a while. :P

also, isn't there some quote in V:tM-B about how calling up base emotions such as hate & fear are the greatest compliments an artist can get?

These that what ive seen from you this is the best piece portraiting human, because it strikes me most emotional one. Also i like that mullins style of "blurry" accesories/backround. It gives the picture some "movement".(sorry dont know how to describe it best in english)
Also this style is pretty distinctive and works as a whole... keep up the good work.

These pictures are not my cup of tea (coffee for me), but I like the skill, thought, and effort put into these pieces.
Nicely done! By the way, I visited your Deviant Art page, Wooz. Good stuff you have there :)

It should be finished soon enough. I'm thinking of adding another light source, on the bottom left.

Awesome. Like pretty much everything you make.

alec says: :ok:

One thing, though: I have never really seen you draw interesting backgrounds yet. I mean, these characters, they're really nice and they're professional work, but all in all: it ain't too friggin' hard to draw just that, you know? A character. With some dark background colour. It's like a mannequin. Just standing there, nothing interesting going on, zero composition, ...
You hate backgrounds? 'Cause I know I did, but then I started to only draw that: backgrounds. And they add so much life to a character. In whatever style.
Just a remark. That's all.

Once again I am impressed Wooz.

Really nice.

NMA should have a contest where we can win one of your images ;)

Thanks. Well, I'd have to actually finish one properly first :-)

You're probably right.

I'm trying to make the piece so the viewer isn't distracted by a cluttered background. I don't know if I shouldn't axe details on different parts of the thing to avoid... eeeh.

Yeah, I got to work on integrating the characters into their environment. And that left foot. And the skin tone is vomitous.
