MIB88: I think you should add a document on how to make a GGG in EPA (not to actualy make one but to put it in Mr-Fixit and add a item that is the component to it that you can't fand anywhere in game.) that way if you get the GGG you can use Mr-Fixit to take it apart into rifles and if you later decide you want the GGG put it back together because you got the 1 part you can't get anywhere but by takeing it apart to put it back together.

also I just realized a bug of sorts. you may want to make it so Mr-Fixit doesn't return the weapon loaded because not only can people start off with it unloaded but if they take it apart and put it together mutiple times unloading it in between they can have unlimited ammo.

edit: well it is more a exploit than a bug.

MIB88: you have mentined not haveing armor drop all the time but instead pices of armor that you gather to make the armor wich I think is a good idea but listen to this idea then decide. how about make 2 or more items of the same armor 1 fully rpaired and the other/s dmaged where ANYONE can pick up a damaged armor and use it (what drops depends on the way the criter was killed, you can even do this for pelts because a geko that died from a critacal Pancor Jackhamer burst to the body would give a VERY poor pelt.) but the catch would be the worse the quality of the armor the higher repair and sometimes science is needed it make it a normal suit of that type modifyed of corse by the knowladge of how to make the armor from scratch if you have the Mr-Fixit for that armor. this could be set at a even higher dificulty than the normal armor drop mode of picking up armor because you will have more options as a player, not focus on repair and science and live with dameged armor, learn the Mr-Fixit for the armor and have some skill in repair and sometimes science, or be a GOD in repair and sometimes science. also with the new armor classes you can replace fully repaired armor in shops that the shopkeep has no clue how to repair damaged armor or make undamaged armor from scratch. I think Bethos BOS and Enclave would be the only ones able to give you undamaged armor from the top of my head.

also in Klemith there is a 1 shot gun that uses 9mm ammo but no way to get more 9mm ammo than the 1 bullet in it till you have plenty of better weapons. and I think the 2 metal armors in EPA should be changed to combat armor BECAUSE why would a pre-war place have metal armor in there security wing that has been locked up since BEFORE pepole would have seen the need to make a jeryriged armor? I consider metal and lower armors other than jackets jeryriged because they wouldn't have been around before the fall but instead made after the fall to give some sort of pretection better than jackets when they couldn't get ahold of REAL armor. (as a side note these jery riged armors and jackets could posably be avalable undamaged in shops that normal can't repair them BUT would maybe be 1/2 the normal chance and the other 1/2 of that chance it spawns as a damaged version of the armor istead showing the damaged armor still has some value in the harsh world but is still not as good as undamaged.)

Nirran: since I know it is your hs_ondeath.sll that is causeing the free armor I think the mass curupt saves I have been getting is from loading that game then going back and loading agin. some how when loading it the first time when it gives you free armor it also lables my char in that piticular save as dead and I can never load that save agin but you don't get free armor IF you shut down the Fallout 2 exe restart it THEN load a save and if you do it this way the save file doesn't get curupted. well of corse you are going to fix the file BUT if anyone that is still useing a old file and is gettting the free armor bug they now know what to do without having to download a fix or reverting back to a old hs_ondeath.sll

MIB88: my insight to why the ammo sometimes bugs and removeing ammo from a gun can make you have less ammo than you had before. I will give 10mm ammo as a example some ammo in your mod is NOT set at the amout you or a mod you put in your mod set the standerd amount of ammo per unit to be so in basick Fallout 2 10mm ammo comes in units of 24 and your mod they come in units of 10 so when a colt that has not been fixed is emptyed into a inventory that has fixed 10mm ammo then the engine looks at the non fixed ammo as 10 - 12 in the unit instead of 24 - 12 (witch is basick Fallout 2 10mm ammo unit corect count) or 20 - 8 (witch is your 10mm ammo unit being corect count). so it looks at the ammo and says it suposed to be 10 in a unit but in the non fixed colt it is 24 a unit and keps track by counting it as 1 unit - 12 instead of 2 units - 8 and when it hits your fixed ammo it counts as a unit of 10 instead of 24 makeing it 1 unit of 10 - 12 ammo makeing you actualy lose 2 ammo instead of gain ammo. of corse I don't know much about moding and or programing above dos but I do have a good head on my shoulders and can spot paterns or falts in paterns pretty easy.

MIBB88 ah well I had to reload. well see I picked up the Lavander Flower and went into a shop then went to deliver it and one of the 4 kids must have stole it BUT it is NOT on the kids or at Flicks. I suspect it might have been caused by your poisond cookie fix that I had no way of getting the quest item back.

MIBB88: I think the random townperson going hostile bug is directly related to asking Vic where he got the waterflask. if you ask him when in a town a random person in that town (out of ANY map attached to the town) goes hostile till you leave the map they are on and come back. probably hapend when his dialoge was edited to teach you stuff and it might not be asking him where he got the water flask but may actualy be when you say you need to ask him something but I think it's the water flask because it only happens the first time you do it and he changes dialog path when you ask him a second time.

MIB88: when Kilnt has a leather jacket or leather armor MK II on and he is set to keep your distance (farthest away) you can't push him. he will jerk like he is about to move but then stop and stay in the same spot. I have been telling him to move closer then "drag" him away from the doorway and then tell him to stay away again so I can get thru some spots.

Nirran: something odd happend. in Modac I went to the guy that has you clear his farm, I picked up the rope at the farm killed all but 1 and got the you cleared the farm notification, then I killed the last rat, then I tryed to tell him I compleated quest and I couldn'. all I could do is ask to goto the farm agin so I went beside the slaughterhouse and waited till noon (because I heard that would fix it.), then I talked to him agin and oly cold goto his farm NOT finish the quest, then I asked him about the watch, then I picked up the spear on that side of town, then I had the Bramin fri eating contest, after that I cheacked my inventory and between the rope I picked up and spear I picked up was a fre set of armor just like the one I was wearing. somehow it seems when I was on that farm I got labled as dead or something and spawned a armor. I think it had to do with that 1 extra rat on the farm I killed but I'm not shure. if the game was counting down from what was suposed to be on the farm then by killing that last rat I made the count -1 rats left wich could have jumbled some numbers around causeing a few unseen glitches like me getting the armor spawn. well I probably can't save but maybe I can if I try to use first aid or doctor on myself first to show the game I am alive.

Nirran update: I was right it did curupt the game so I couldn't save. this time I will watch for the all clear mesage and try to leave the farm without any of my party killing any more rats.
 
I knew of the reason for the ammo discrepancies. I posted about that on the wiki. The proper fix is to redo maps with ammo on it. Nirran has made a fix for it that does work, but I haven't included it yet.

I don't know what you are referring to regarding the random hostile person. However, you do know that random junkies turn hostile, right? I think this was intended in the Den. Homeless people in those random encounters also become randomly hostile. Or, are you referring to something else?

The kids also sell to Tubby, you know. There is no bug that would just cause an item to disappear like that. What are you talking about when you say "poisoned cookie fix"?

Corrupted games. I have said this on the wiki and over and over again in the threads, so make sure you are not doing this: DO NOT change Klint's armor and then save the game and exit. If you do, your game will be broken.If you change his armor, make sure you leave the map before saving.

I may add 9mm ammo to Slik's inventory.

I am not going to add an option to disassemble the GGG and put it back together again. Following that idea to its conclusion, why not add such a feature to every weapon in the game? Why not be able to take apart a laser gatling gun to make multiple laser rifles? No. I'm not doing that.

Armor in the EPA: if you pay attention to the dialog, the base wasn't just frozen in time. It was still used after the war. Therefore, it is plausible that there would be metal armor there. However, like I said before regarding a spear that was found in the EPA: So what? There are things all over the game in various locations that may not seem like it fits to one person or another. (Not to mention all the real bugs that are in the game that should really irritate people.) There is no way that everybody is gonna be happy with that. I didn't make any of those maps, however, I am happy with them. And I am not about to go through the entire game looking for things that people think does not belong in certain locations.

if you dont have repeatable quests mod installed,then i didnt edit any of the files having to do with clearing the garden quest,i will take a look at the armor mod,tho it is already included in mm,not realy a point to adding the mod on top of the same mod

about the random people in den going hostile. forget about it. last night I got flustrated that I couldn't get Laddie to tell me where the goast farm was so bad that I read a Fallout 2 wallkthru involveing everything about the goast farm. you see I only started paying Fallout 2 agin about a month, before then I didn't play a year AND I only ONCE ever got to go to the goast farm and that was about 5 years ago. well I'm getting old and my memory is fadeing so in my mind I thought when I did get the goast farm that I was suffering thru withdrawl and had stupid dialog and while stupid my char was able to understand Ladie enough for Ladie to tell me where the goast farm was. well while I was looking it up I stumbled on a note about the Den that random light weight people will "flip out" because of so much drug use and go hostile on you for what seems like no reason. well funny thing is for this past month the only time they started to "flip out" on me was after I asked Vic where he got the waterflask. because of my fadeing memory I had forgoten all about that being in basick Fallout 2and figured it was from your MM. on a side note the mayor realy should have a extra dialog path if you heard about the goast farm from Rose's husband, maybe something like:

player: do you know where the goast farm is?
Mayor: yes and now that you mentiond it maybe you can do something for me.

then the dialog will be similer to the rest of the normal way to get the goast farm but without the mayor mentining the thing you asked for to get the normal path for goast farm.

I don't think I have saved in the same screen as changeing Klints armor. and also Klint was acting realy funny one time after switching his armor twice once to metal armor from leather MK II but that switched his skills to heavy weapons and he REFUSED to equip ANY wepon I had (I didn't have any HEAVY WEAPONS or even had a chance to get one that early in game.) then I switched him back to leather armor MK II closed his screen then started useing him as a mule agin BUT when I next talked to him (same screen) he didn't have trade and combat control buttons, all he had was a barter button and he wouldn't follow me around screen. so I told him to wait then told him to join and he was ok. tryed to trade agin and same button bug poped up. told him to leave told him to join then left map. tryed to save but game was curupt.

since the regular farm quest in Modac (NOT goast) was unchanged by Niran that meens somehow I can't get it to work for MM maybe I will try standing by the butcher till noon and he starts dialog before I acept the quest and see what happens (in a difent post somewhere there was a mention of sometimes the quest compleat tag for that quest doesn't get flaged unless you heard the butcher talk or something like that.

Nirran: I was useing your armor mod with MM because something went wrong with the MM armor drop for 2.35.4

MIB88: it seems if Klint is wearing leather armor MK II and i trade with him he then acts like he has been told to stay there BUT has the option of telling him to stay instead of telling him to join. I don't know where this started hapening but I have had to start a old save quite a few times because I traded stuff to him after a random encounter and when I left it he didn't follow me. this NEVER happend to me with Klint before so MAYBE it is because Ladie is hanging out with Jhony at the goast farm (ya I'm clutching at straws but I do hope Klint quits leaveing my party after I finish with Modac because if he keeps doing it the rest of the game it is going to get anoying.).

Why do you keep insisting on this?

Both Nirran and MIB88 told you already that .sll files are source code for other modders. They are not read by the game at all.

So your armor drop problems probably are from missing files or a bad installation of the Megamod.

For the record: I have been playing the Megamod since before the armor drop mod was even added and I never had any problems with armor not dropping and I think no one here mentioned problems with it either, you are the only one having problems with it and judging from all the other bugs you mention here I'm pretty much sure you didn't install the mod correctly.
 
@ Lord Danath: hmmm SOMETHING is going VERY wrong with my game then BECAUSE first I was getting armor (2.35.2 and I didn't have a hs_ondeath.sll in that install), then I patched to 2.35.4 (wich had a hs_ondeath.sll), THEN I was getting no armor, then I wrote over MIB88s hs_ondeath.sll with the hs_ondeath.sll from Nirrans armor mod. THEN I started getting armor drops agin BUT I also got a free armmor on reloading a save, then I replaced Nirrans hs_ondeath.sll with the one in his updated armor mod and I STOPED getting the free armmor.

hmmm by my logic in MY game the exe or SOMETHING IS reading the hs_ondeath.sll file. even if it is not supposed to.

anyways about Davin wasn't there a mod makeing him a little better also? I never had him before but this time I'm playing a female AND have cult of personality so I might as well have both Maria and Davin but Davin seems to only equip a knife not ANY knife just the basick knife. I can't seem to get him to equip ANYTHING else even a combat knife wich I would think he would at least equip it and I would be happy with just that much because everything I hear about him is he is a waste of space. but like I said I have cult of personality and since he doesn't keep me from getting any other party members he is at least good for a human shield in combat or IF I could get him to equip a combat knife he might could kill a rat or ant before one of my party members wastes ammo on it fireing a burst at it.and I would think with how high the cost of ammo is in MM that if he managed to save me on some and add that to what he comes with would probably pay for what scrap equipment I let him use.

The free armor on reload was a bug that was present in one of the first releases of Nirran's Armor Drop mod but he fixed it and reuploaded the mod.

As for your exe reading .ssl files that's just plain impossible.

The .ssl files are uncompiled scripts files that when compiled turn into .int files which are the ones the game reads.

Also please use the spellchecker before submitting your posts. I don't know if English is your native language but it's kinda difficult to understand you post with so many grammar errors

hmm maybe something on my PC compiled it while I was not looking. and therefore now my hs_ondeath.int has been changed without my knowladge BUT this happes right between shutting down Fallout 2 changeing out the hs_ondeath.sll and reloading Fallout 2. so if this is the case everytime I put a new or change a old sll in Fallout 2 something compiles it. I have been setting EVRYTHING in my fallout 2 folder to read only AND my PC is kinda buggy itselfso maybe when I set hs_ondeath.sll to read only some bug in my PC compiled it.

you should see some of the odd things my windows are doing. some compleatly disapire for no reason I know of and to get them back I have to ctrl alt deleat , then highlight the window in that and press switch to. othertimes no window shows as if it was on top and when I clike the one visable but fadded because the PC thinks it is not on top then it minamizes instead of popup as the active window. RUNDLL keeps trying to run programs I have NEVER had on this PC poping up with a can't find program and telling me the path (I tryed looking a few up but aftr c: program files there is nothing of the path to try to follow so I don't even have the folders of the folders that the phantom program suposed to be in.). yes I set my PC to show hidden files so I'm shure the path is not there.

maybe my PC is possesd!!!
 
First of all the only way to compile a script is doing it yourself with programs designed specifically for that function so no chance of something compiling those .ssl files on it's own.

About your other PC problems, that sound not like it's possesed but like you have some virus in your comp.

Have you tried running an antivirus program? Do you even have one installed?
 
I have lost track of the dates/times I modified the hs_ondeath script. When I first included it, it was indeed causing double armor and the player character's weapon to be dropped. However, this did not happen every time. It was random (but a few tests for me seemed to suggest that this error occurred 1/3 of the time).

Like I already said, I added a line to have the code totally ignore the player. I thought this fixed the problem, but instead it caused the script to completely not function. Again, I don't remember the initial date of this file, so I don't remember if it was a part of 2.35.3 or 2.35.4 or if this was something I was working on after that.

I am still working on it. I'm still playtesting 2.4. I am still having some problems with this.

yes I have Noton 360 and it runs a scan every time my PC is idal for 5 min. I actualy think that I have a few trojons it missed 1 keeps try to acsses the web with IE but norton stops it when it does try and gives me a popup telling me that. then I think I have a trojon that trys to run a sister viruse and tells RUNDLL to go do it but it can't because that program is not there (I think Norton caught the bad program and removed it but that trojon is still there trying to get the viruse running.). and then just weird stuff.

MIB88: I'm waiting for 2.36 and when it comes I will stop useing Nirrans mods to MM for awile.

I think the fix was included in 2.35.4 but I don't really remember right know.

Anyways, most of Darkform's problems suggest that he didn't install the mod correctly or that he has some kind of virus in his computer that's messing everything up.

Edit: The hs_ondeath.int in 2.35.4 is dated September 3 and it's size is 3124.

Norton antivirus sucks. You should get something better like NOD32 or AVG (Which is free in case you can't afford to buy a new one)
 
you know alot of the strange things started hapening in this recent game. just SO MANY things that I NEVER saw the game do before so I'm going to quit this round of the game especaly since I have like $12,000+ gold AND Klint, Sulk, Vic, Maria, Davon, and Casidy all overweight with stuff to sell and I'm at max weight. (I realy don't like leaveing anything behind on random encounters AND anouther strang thing that happend this game is I got SOOOOO many random encounters with like 8 of this fighting 8 of that.) well I might as well reinstall.

the version I'm useing is 2.35.2 patched with a 2.35 to 2.35.4 patch and the no armor droping thing is in the 2.35 to 2.35.4 patch. I don't know of any other patches to bring it to 2.35.4 so I will still use it and use Nirrans armor mod.

you know come to think of it just before I started the game this time around I downloaded the newest SFall and put it in. I changed around some variables in it based on my play style BUT some tags that are set in the ddraw.ini in MM 2.35.4 may not have been taged in the final copy I used this time. I realy wanted that party members have a second chance to use left over APs feature that was added in the latest SFall.

Davin IS COMPLEATLY useless in combat on hard combat difficulty isnt he? going from Modac to VC I had to reload countless times because EVEN set to abgect coword he would walk in front of someone with a gun and that person would miss trier target and hit Davin. and not only hit him but hit him with a crit and poff he's DEAD. I had to keep reloading untill I didn't have a encounter the whole way to VC. BUT it may be a flaw or bug do to the mods I'm running n MM and the posability of a curupt install (tho I concentrated n instaling it good.) that sorta gave Davin a jinxed perk.

well I will install Fallout 2, unofical patch, MM 2.35.2, run the runme bat in 2.35.2, MM patch 2.35 to 2.35.4, deleate the hs_ondeath.int.
and see what happens on a new game. hopfully whatever in 2.35.2 made armor drop will kick in right when there isn't a hs_ondeath.int file. 2.35.2 didn't have the file (probably compresd in a dat file or something was where it had it.) so hopefuly it works and if not I put in Nirrans armor mod hs_ondeath.int.

by the way i didn't mention things that went wrong this game that I knew wasn't caused by MM. like Arryo hunting grounds crashing game when I tryed to enter it tryed a few times before and after other quests but never could get in. or Klimith traping grounds being compleatly empty of geckos. not a single one to be found.

no it is just unofical patch.

well I encountered something else starange. first the triligy disk refused to auto load saying it could not find a piticular font, I just explored the disk and entered the Faqllout 2 folder and ran it's setup and that worked, then when I went to copy the files in my MM 2.35.2 folder it stoped on Masrte.dat and told me the file is already being used :shock: , this file is in a folder that is in my downloads section and I'm wondering HOW it can be in use when I haven't put it in my Fallout 2 folder yet OR have Fallout 2 even on. hmm cheacking task manager it says I have a extra Fallout 2 folder open AND a MAPS folder open that I don't see on my taskbar. maybe since the 2nd Fallout 2 folder was open it kept the files in it that I thought I deleated. looks like I'm deleating EVERYTHING in the Fallout 2 folder AGIN after closeing one of those windows of corse.

edit: I probably didn't get a clean install last time ether because of some fluke that my PC was hideing files that only showed up in task manager.

update: after takeing a hour off after installing I tryed to run Fallout 2 and it can't find and run it's text fonts. wich is odd. the only stuff I removed was IN the Fallout 2 folder. and everything in there was reinstaled so the fonts SHOULD still be on my PC.

update: hmmm this is odd but if I press Fallout 2 by pressing Fallout 2 in the triligy pack to install it it starts up Fallout 2 with no problems. I pressed this to see if it would install that way now BECAUSE for some reason when it wouldn't install that way it gave a warning can't find Fallout 2 exe. it looks like when I try to uninstall Fallout 2 the CD THINKS I still have it installed and have to install by entering the CD and running setup instead of useing autorun BUT after I do that the game on PC says it can't find the font files where if I autorun after that it works. well in setup I DID install as HUMUNGUS install BUT what I think is happening is that the setup in that CD is just a copy of the setup in the origanal non-trilagy Fallout 2 CD and when I try to run Fallout 2 after installing that the game looks for the origonal Fallout 2 CD for fonts instead of the triligy CD and since the Fallout 2 folder is not the first folder in the trilagy CD the game can't locate the fonts. but if I start Fallout 2 with autorun on the triligy then somehow the triligy verifys itself and supplys the fonts. maybe I can reinstall everything AGIN and now it will work but if not I will just have to run Fallout 2 from the disk. with the other odd things on my PC I'm getting used to takeing a few extra steps to do something that normaly you don't have to take the extra steps to do. also I get the felling there is another copy of Fallout 2 somewhere on my PC and autorun can see it and that is why it won't install when I think it is uninstald. or it may just be thinking that my folder containing the uniffical patch is Fallout 2 since it has a Fallout 2 exe in it. you know the CD NEVER had a problem reinstalling Fallout 2 with autorun before Norton tryed to scan the CD but that shouldn't have caused a problem.

update: ether Fallout2 unofical patch, MM 2.35.2, or MM patch 2.35 to 2.35.4 got curupted in my downloads folder. because after adding them no matter what I did Fallout wouldn't run and only gave a warning that it could not find the text fonts so now I'm removeing thier packed and upacked folder from my PC and freshly downloading them. hmm I will try something else also. I will have windows uninstall Fallout 2 then I will remove the Blackisle and Fallout 2 folders and see if autorun will auto install then.

update: OK I had to run a regestry cleaner then remove every mod I had in downloads folder that had a Fallout2.EXE in it AND remove ALL shortcuts but now the triligy disk ran the autorun to install Fallout 2. darn this has been a LONG night but I have a fresh autorun instaled Fallout 2 now and can download the patch, MM and MM patch THEN probably goto sleep and play tomorrow. (if you was wondering I had a restoration project mod folder sitting in my downloads because I was thinking about trying that out but somehow the EXE in that file was stoping my disk from autoruning.)

no it is just unofical patch.

Equally dumb I'd say (probably won't mess up as much as the RP but can potentially cause some fuck ups). Where in the readme file for the Megamod does it say it's OK to use any mods or patches???
It does in fact say that it does NOT work correctly with other patches and mods. Unless these mods and patches have been specifically tailored for use with the MM of course.

The Megamod comes with it's own tweaked version of the unofficial patch so there is absolutely no need to try to install that on your own.

I thought it was redundent myself because I think MM 2.35.2 overwrites every file the patch adds. next time I will skip that step of my install but right now I just woke up and want to see if I can play and if the Armor drop funtion works.

if anyone was wondering how I can play Fallout 2 so much. I'm on disability so I get free money. of corse it is about 1/4 what someone with my training could make in a month but if I keep a tight budget it is enough to support my rent (wich includes power and water), cable internet, food and meds. of corse I live in a dump but I'm not picky.

MIB88: just a small issue about wording it doesn't realy bother me but if your female the guy at the end before asking questions says. normaly only male wariors are alowed to try to pass the trial. I would think since thier is no other type of warior but male wariors that he would leave off the male part OR emphasize it, ether a difrent font or by saying "MALE wariors" witch could actualy meen he wouldn't have thought it odd if a male non-warior tryed, wich he dosen't (mind) if you are male and not a warior. well I'm not trying to be the grammer or continuity police but it is a little od that he would even mention male warior when there is no other type of warior unless he is stressing MALE, kinda hinting that "little girl normaly only men can take the test but there is no rule about it." .

MIB88: someone else mentiond inconsistanceys with the Shamon teaching you. this edit to my post is to tell you it finaly happend to me. normaly I get back around the night of the 3rd this time I did get back about 2200. and sometimes I would hassle him about teaching me but not always, this time I did not. after everything else I'm normaly still before midnight so I pip wait till the 5th 0000 witch is midnight the 4th, he normaly says he is not ready even if I talk to him on the 4th at 2350. well this time on the 5th at 0000 he said I was to late. difrence is I took some things from arryo before leaveing and left Klemith/enterd Arryo with 27 karma but after the fight I rescued the dog and was at 32 Karma so I should have been fine. maybe if you come to Arryo with less than 30 karma something gets jumbled with the code IDK but I find it odd the time to get traind got changed. and if it's supposed to be durring the night of the moon shouldn't he be able to teach you anytime between the 4th at 2000 to the 5th at 600? but instead he has been teaching me on the 5th at 0000 normaly for 2.35.4 and before when I was playing 2.35.2 I didn't pay as much atention but it seemed sometimes I would get training as late as the 5th at 600 or later. all I know is it was the 5th and daylight but that was before I knew to look at the poll. well I will start a older save, I don't think I saved in Kemith but no harm anyways when I was in Klemith I realized I forgot to talk to Jordan before I left Arryo and was thinking of posably loading a save that was before I left the first map after the trial.

update: I think I'm missing a quest or something because I normaly leave Klemith with 30 or 32 Karma and this time I have 29.

update: ok my istall MUST have been curupt because I talked to the shamen on the 3rd at 2221 and he said I was to late. ether the install was curupt wich I don't see how OR if you do the find the dog quest it automaticaly makes you late, OR getting to Arryo with less than 30 Karma automaticaly makes you to late. before reloading everything again I will restart a old save and goto Klemith save, edit karma to 30 then come back and see if he will say I'm late when I don't save the dog or come back with less than 30 karma.

update: ether it is a curupt install OR he says you'r late if you get there that early. I will try one more time and wait outside Arryo till the morning of the 4th before I enter Arryo.

update: he still says I'm late but I have a save after finishing the temple BUT before I left the temple so I will load that save talk to the elder, then talk to the shamen, then talk to the shamen AGAIN and see if he says I'm late.

update: hmmm he said he was not ready. I saved and now I will edit my karma to 30 and not do ANYTHING else but wait till he says he will teach me OR t6hat I'm to late. if he teaches me on the 5th at 0000 then the curuption is NOT him but something I did between talking to him and getting to Kemith.

update: he taught me at the right time so something between talking to him and going to Kemith sets the flag that you are to late. sorry about being vaige. I know a little about how troblesome it can be to mod something. if you cheeck out Tera Arcanum you can find where I made a suit of armor and a scimatic to learn how to build it for a mod on that sight for the game Arcanum.

MIB88: I noticed another patern. it seems if you talk to the Elder when it is dark out the next time you try to save it says it can't save.

MIB88: about the ammo, there is a non-fixed unit of 10mm AP ammo in a crate in the room the mayor of Modac is in. I have seen this allot of times because I tend to marry then run to the tradeing post and take everything not nailed down before he gets back as my wedding gifts. it is not a high priority because it is a full unit of 24 but some pepole may not lke it turning into 10 when they combine it with other ammo, wich should not realy be much of a problem seeing as how rare the 10mm AP ammo is anyways.
 
-If you give watch to Cornelius Friend right off the bat WITHOUT getting quest from Cornelius you end up with watch in inventory and quest crossed off. Another Quest had this exact same problem but I can't recall it...

-EPA : Overall this level gives too much good loot for how easy it is, you can have gauss pistol before level 12 - way too easy for how powerful that gun (and the Pulse Pistol and Gatling Laser).

-EPA : If you take West side elevator up to Utility Level game loads a worthless map (instead of telling you its broken and can only be used from right side?).

-Primitive Tribe: Why not use Killap's version of this? I think his version of Primitive Tribe / Rescuing Sulik's sister is much better. Also firewood quest (and another quest from that map?).

-I'm not sure if this is a bug, but every single armor was lootable, regardless of Repair Skill (which The Megamod Guide led me to believe was required).
