most overrated movies?

Marvel movies were fine when they were just fun action movies you got every now and then. Now they are conveyor belt mass produced Dreadnoughts that have steered the whole movie industry into an annoying trend while they themselves lose more and more heart.

The lack of heart is noticeable in GotG2.

Oh really? Never noticed that, what do you mean, exactly? I'm always interested in such theories.

It's not so much a theory once you know what to look for and studied, even superficially, what these Secret Societies believe and know that the people who join these societies are people of influence.

Take for example the Bush family and how they have belonged to Yale's "Skull and Bones" and the Satanic initiation ceremony that initiates go through.

Bohemian Grove, New World Order, Greater Israel, Project Bluebeam, Flat Earth, RFID Chipping, Genetic Enhineering, Pre-Deluvian Civilization, UFO Activity, Portal Opening, The Great Hydron Collider, NASA being a fraud factory, all U.S. Presidents except one being blood related, ect.

It's pretty far off stuff but the truth is somewhere in the middle of it all. Just because I talk about it doesn't mean I believe it all but there is something there, believe me.

It's a pretty damn deep rabbit hole, probably the deepest. It also all funnily can be connected to scripture if you know what connections to draw. It's because many Secret Societies today hold beliefs from ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Babylon, the so called "Hyperboreans" that Noah came from, ect. which all have to do with the NWO of the Beast in the "End Times."

Hollywood is a great marketing tool to indoctrinate the masses into the NWO mindset as well as TV to a lesser degree.

I'll tell you this; I am a scripture believing man, I fast and pray regularly and try to preach when I can. I also believe UFOs are real but do not hold the belief they are extraterretrials. My father when he was young had an encounter with his mother where they saw three saucers relatively close hovering above their rural house out in the sticks and they disappeared through some teleportation trick. Those things are real but they're not "aliens."

Churches believe Demons are Fallen Angels like Satan but obscure scriptues tell us that Demons are in fact the disembodied spirits of Nephilim (Angel/Human Hybrids) cursed to that state by YHWH.

So what are Saucers? I believe them to be the method by which Fallen Angels transport themselves. There are also many theories involving the Greys as a kind of "flesh-suit" for demons to use or them being artificial creations to serve as servants to them which would explain the human skulls that have been found that bear no skull separation and have more skull mass than they should but when tested show to be human and not alien skulls. Angels mating with Humans create Nephilim who bear a striking resemblance to Grey Aliens.

I got seriously off-topic but that's what happens when discussing this stuff. NWO and "end time" stuff is too broad to not get derailed.

He should stay the fuck away from Twin Peaks.

Never watched it and don't intend to just like I never watched X-Files. Watching Tv isn't exactly my idea of research.

THe movies just bemoce self aware of their fanbase, they increasingly just become panderfests to specific sets of pofitable fanbases.

I'll give Black Panther a chance tho.

I'll give Black Panther a chance tho.

Why because we might actually finally get a movie we can respect starring a black superhero? I'm looking at you Shaquille O'Neal.

If it flops then maybe Cyborg can be the redeemer although my faith in DC's "cinematic universe" is shot to hell after Batman-V-Superman.

I am not holding my breath, it could end up being just an extended gag like all MCU movies, but I'll give it a chance.

You must really dislike the occult.

You have no idea. Human sacrifice and child rape are very fundamental in occult worship. Im dead serious.

Can't have magic on the movies or the Chinese will ban it. It's "Cosmic Quantum Physics".

I could be wrong but I think this has to do with Mao's "Great Leap Forward." If you take a look at Chinese lore they had witches and magic as a fundamental part of their history and culture.

By "magic" I don't mean "Harry Potter" magic. I mean celestial reading, prediction, healers, mediums, curses, ect. Very tame stuff by "magical" definition standards. There was also a great belief in spirits and mystical creatures.

But "The Great Leap Forward" was very bad for China and killed 45 million in only four years due to lack of farming. Very tragic.

I do like the Marvel Netflix shows. Although Iron Fist kinda didn't interest me too much, The Defenders is quite nice so far. Definitely looking forward to The Punisher.

/edit: I propose another category: Overhated movies.
I recently rewatched the Indiana Jones movies, and I gotta say, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is not really all that worse than Temple Of Doom. KOTCS gets a lot of hate for its use of "aliens", annoying side characters and super silly scenes like nuking the fridge, but honestly, Temple Of Doom is just as bad. You have Short Round and Willie, two of the most annoying characters in cinematic history, ridiculous scenes like sailing out of a plane in a lifeboat, and it had magic stones and shit. Indiana Jones movies always had some supernatural or mystical element to them, so the interdimensional aliens in Crystal Skull aren't that bad.
Granted, Crystal Skull was worse in terms of silly content quantity-wise, and overuse of CGI to add cute gophers and monkeys and stuff, but in general I don't think it deserves all the hate. Well, it deserves as much hate as Temple Of Doom, really.

/edit: It does look kinda shitty and overy vaselined, though.

Going off Hass's overHated, I like John Carter. It wasn't marketed well at all and kind of flew under the collective radar of audiences. Leaving off "of Mars " was problematic as John Carter is kinda vague. But it was classic pulp escapism.

Overhated hmmmm? Watchmen. Don't know what people hate about that movie.

Remember when I said as much?

I recall being WTFIFAS bombed.

Well for starters the movie is damn near four hours long. And we spend a lot of time with nite owl and whats her face and these characters are fucking boring. The heros actions start petty inner squabbles and solve nothing. Overall I enjoyed the movie but I don't think I will ever watch it again and that's not exactly the mark of a great film. It kinda managed to be great and shit at the same time.

/inb4 some dipshit says the star wars prequels weren't that bad.
