Nerding out on internet purchases

Also I wonder if the "size" of porn is a result of certain tastes. For instance growing bored with seeing the same thing after a while. You find one video and you think "this is the hottest thing I have ever seen", but after a few good tugs to it- regardless of how frequent or infrequent you make use of it -you just need something else. Therefore, more videos, more gigs of space. If I could be satisfied with the same thing over and over again, then 500mb would be more than enough! XD

I recently purged about 1TB of porn, I think. I could've watched like a non-stop stream of porn without repeats for a year or so.

I don't even know what to do with all that free hd space now. Maybe install my whole Steam library at once.

Terabytes of Steam Library games? I guess that's what I'm missing to understand what 4 TB of space could possibly warrant. I've never been one to splurge on my purchases, even with the extremely delightful and not terribly infrequent Steam [insert occasion] Sales, so there's a decidedly small Steam Library on my system, and that's how I like it. FONV ready at a moment's notice. Dota2 ready all the time. Valve's Free to Play documentary whenever I wanna watch it again. L.A. Noire, Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 make up the only games in my Library that frequently just "sit" there. All told, not that much. I think Starcraft II took up the most space of anything on my system before I was forced to reformat, and I haven't installed it since, cause..... well yeah, SC2.

you are acting like i have filled them all up
c: 240 gig ssd with win764ult

No I'm not. I'm just keenly aware that a general rule of thumb is to keep any storage space filled no more than 60% to capacity at any time. It leaves room for more, while not making waste of the space. For hard disk space, there's the added caveat that the more it's filled up, the longer it takes for the system to access what you want. That STILL means 2.4 TB of stuff, and like I said, 500GB was more than enough for me. So I still found myself baffled that you'd need nearly that much.

actually the largest size stuff i want to keep outside of my games is my hidden shame, asian dramas

hey people, dont forget about the amazon lightning deals, sometimes they have good ones

Asian dramas? Don't those have pixelated genitals?

Actually it's not the genitals they pixellate over there in Asia, it's actually the pubic hair. Or so I'm told.
Nope, it's the genitals. But it depends on where you go. They couldn't care less in China, but in Japan it's illegal to show ANY genitalia OR pubic hair. So they love their shaved parts for very different reasons than the West; because you get more skin past the mosaics. That's why porn from Japan only get uncensored when it's released in other countries, and why the fastest decensoring comes from South America and China.

Breasts are totally fair game in Asia, however. Those aren't considered lewd, unlike in the West. So as long as the audience for a particular form of entertainment is considered mature enough, they'll be quite liberal with their depiction of toplessness, and it's totally fine. No censorship required.

Divine Divinity.

One of the dumbest, most redundant titles for anything ever.

Game good though.

The thought only just occurred to me... but would Steam purchases count?

I went years without adding any funds to my Steam Wallet, and I kept buying things here and there because the Steam Trading was so profitable, my Steam Wallet kept increasing. But..... then I made a bunch of really sloppy purchasing decisions, which I'm certainly saddened by. Bought a Dota2 Lina Arcana when it was on sale for about half off, expecting to turn a quick buck in a week, only to lose money when it dropped in value as everyone and their mother was liquidating their own to buy OTHER items that went on sale. Purchased a few of those on-sale items to rebound a little, then THEY lost value when they were being liquidated to fund the purchases of other items- also on sale! So now my latest purchase was 2 Dota2 Phantom Assassin Arcana, one from the store for $28, one from the market for $29 which is upgraded, with the hope that THIS TIME will be different and I'll be able to sell one of them for upwards of $29 when the sale ends in 2 days, instead of repeating the same trend and losing more money. ~_~

If Valve makes another random sale and THOSE start losing their value due to mass liquidation.....

Well, at least I really like the Phantom Assassin Arcana. It's damn purty! =D
