A sword in Fallout. Finally. And the sniper animation? This is like Christmas. Can't wait for those to find a way into RP 1.3.
Also, this is directed toward Qwerty, since he's here talking about his anims. I downloaded those, installed them, but I'm unclear on how to use them.
Do I have to edit anything manually? Because I've just been using F2Wedit to make some changes to the weapons and things. I've switched some of the frms around and designed "new" weapons based on them. Like the hand flamer, which uses the hold anim from the smg.
How could I, for example, get fire to spew from the smg? F2Wedit only has options for the hold animation and the projectile used, which there isn't one for fire. I could change the damage type to fire, but I wouldn't think that does anything.
Another example, the minigun. I had edited it to fire a single shot before I realized that I would need a new animation for it, and then conveniently stumbled upon your work. Same problem, though. Will it just know to use the single fire anim if I include that as an attack in the weapon's proto file?
Sorry to bring this up here, but I saw an opportunity and this has been bugging me for a while.
