New Vegas a bit rewritten and a bit redesigned

Could always tweak the mod yourself afterwards to add/remove/tweak things to your own liking.
Personally I would've wanted to alter AGI so that it increases jumping height very very slightly as well as running speed by like +5% for every point above 5 but alas I'm too much of a lazy piece of shit to redownload the FNV GECK and do actual work.

Well would you look at that, I already had FNV and GECK installed. So let's see here...

Huh, neat, I think I found where to edit the derivative statistics of SPECIAL. (go to the "Gameplay" tab, go to "Settings", search for something like fAVDCritLuckBase and you'll see it is at 0 and if you search for fAVDCritLuckMult it shows 1, so base crit is 0 and each point in Luck adds 1%. So that's how you tweak derivative statistics) I also found where to edit the description of individual SPECIAL stats. (Go to "Character" tab, go to "Actor Values" and look for the skill or stat who's description you'd like to alter) I have yet to find how to add something new and tie it to a primary stat though.

18: Pip-Boy 3000 can fuck off.
5.Mirelurks they can mostly stay as a giant crabs, but their king counterparts could be redesigned to look less like humans.

NOOO! Walking into the Camp Guardian Cave was like walking into The Creature From The Black Lagoon.

19.Power Armour Training Scrapped, power armour can be used without one.

20.Sentry bots and other robots (Mr.Handy and others) that were redesigned that look like shit are replaced with their Fallout 1 and 2 counterparts.

21.Scrapped

Might just be me, but this armor design makes the T-45d PA look more "advanced" than the T-51b PA which wouldn't make sense for obvious reasons.

Does it? Maybe it does, I don't know. To me it seems like they have got buckets on their heads, if we had Van Buren and T-45 from there it would be better, but we don't.

Also 24.Fire ants that breathe fire are explained in New Vegas by eating a lot of gunpowder from military tracks.

It's mostly the amount of sensors and lights on it as well as the amount of detail on it that makes it look more advanced to me. I personally didn't mind the original design, since it had that "low end" look to it, which the T-45d always was compared to T-51b, but that's just my two cents.

I suppose you are right, but the previous armour had a bug, where the shoulders floated in the air, so I went for it. I don't mind t-45 nearly as much, but I prefer this version more. Everyone can come up with their own headcannon. I am trying to stray away from Bethesda's Fallout as far as I can.

21.Fast travel is gone (optional), replaced with Vehicles, brahmin caravans or something.
God no. I hate the tedious walking aspect of a Bethesda game and FNV is no different. That doesn't enhance gameplay in any way, it just makes it far more tedious. Like the quest to go to radio outposts for NCR? Without fast-travel? Fuck that noise.
Didn't Gizmo work on a mod for Fallout 3 that turned it into the world map of FO1/2 where you could "fast"-travel on it? That's a far better mod to get than to disable fast-travel all together.

Yeah, I suppose you are right. If NV had map like Fallout 1 or 2, it wouldn't be bad, but without it, it is just tedious. I completly forgot about those quests. Therefore, I scrapped that suggestion.

I should have thought this through a bit more.

Was it actually a canon thing that the stupid Pipboy 3000 actually sealed onto the user's wrist or something? Or is the protagonist just given it when they're ten?

I remember some weird implication that you couldn't take it off. I'm probably wrong though.
