Vick or what?
He's good, but holy shit was the Redskins defense beyond terrible.

Also Haynesworth was the best D-lineman on the field despite all the whining about him.

He was always fast and had a cannon, he was just defense illiterate and skated on talent alone.

It's uplifting to see a dude be given a second chance and make the most of it though - he's saying and doing all the right things and he seems sincere.

This entire season so far though. He's been nearly flawless...and no INT's. wtf! I have to say, well...he's definitely the best-performing QB in the league this year stat-wise. I haven't watched all the games but what I've seen of him has been p. damn impressive.

Yea, Albert has been good this whole year. Last week was a nightmare for a lot of defenses. The skins basically need to win their last 3 division games, 2 Giants 1 Cowboys to end up 5-1 and have the tiebreaker advantage for the division title. 10% chance but they've won 5 and 6 straight to close out seasons and make the playoffs several times in the last 5 years.

He had backside contain and was baiting Vick with the possum move obviously. If I lie here on my belly staring at the turf there's no way he could possible suspect my plan!

Or my favorite Moss apology - he doesn't dog it, he's a wily veteran that knows when to strategically apply his effort to the situations where he's needed most!
Or he's dogging it to lull the DB into a false sense of security, then he'll turn the jets on!

edit:
Redskins fans are not your whores!

How dare you!

I want Redskins reparations!

Imagine what he could have been if he hadn't wasted his pre-convict career being an arrogant, entitled jackass.

Kevin Kolb must be on the trading block. Vikings? Cardinals? Seahawks?

I like seeing Troy Smith getting a shot and doing a good job. He's Doug Flutie Jr., cursed with being too short (allegedly).

Whenever I think the panthers season can't get much worse, I look and find out another major player is hurt, and now I am tempted to see what type of chicken salad they can make with chicken...Mess....

Hah, that was hilarious, Cimms.

Though not as hilarious as the fact that the Panthers are Brian St. Pierre.

I wouldn't make too many conclusions on McCoy or Troy Smith yet. We've seen young first-starts string together some good games like this before. The real question is if they can stand the upcoming tests now that teams have game film on them. We'll see. I like Troy Smith, though. Too bad he's a Ninnie.

I don't think the Panthers have ever really recovered from that playoff stunner a couple years ago. They looked like absolute juggernauts and got totally blown out in the semis by Kurt Warner. Ever since they've gone downhill. Pity to see Steve Smith's talent get wasted like that.

Here's a couple others, little older:

I'd rather have Georges St. Pierre as my QB, at least he could knock a mo-fo out.

McCoy used to crack me up, he looks and sounds like a High School kid, but he is a stand-up cat. And I sincerely believe he played under more pressure in Texas than he does for the Brownies.

edit:
New Nike Unis for 2012.
I hope these are just concept art, I really don't like the looks of any of them at all. They're all hideous quite frankly, every one of them.
Way too modern looking, none of these unis would age well.

Holy cow, Chiefs, Jaguars and Steelers are cringe-worthy. Is there any other source verifying these as actual Nike designs and not just someone with a lot of free time?

McCoy and Troy Smith are apples and oranges. Troy Smith's been around for a long time now, and he's played well every time he's gotten an opportunity (as infrequent as that has been). Just like Doug Flutie, he'll never be a permanent solution for any team because of his unimpressive stature. They'll always be looking to upgrade, whether he's doing a good job or not.

McCoy's off to a promising start, but the jury's definitely still out on him. He could be anything between a back-up and Drew Brees.

I was hoping Tampa Bay Mike Williams would make it through the season without getting into trouble. He's an integral part of my money-league fantasy team.

Troy Smith isn't a Doug-sized midget, dude, he's as big as Drew Brees. Not that that's an ideal, prototypical size, but it's not an unconquerable handicap.

I'm just saying, both are profiting from having enough time learning the offense while they themselves are unknown. We've seen it plenty of times before, so who knows how they keep it up once teams have enough tapes.

SMW is fine. He's starting this week, doesn't look like there's any DUI charges, so unless his pee comes back showing MJ he's fine.
