NFL - week 13 seems like as good a week as any

Partriots beat Dolphins 28-7. They are 15-0, which means they surpassed the Dolphins old single season winning streak against the Dolphins.

Bears stole one from Green Bay also.

I am cry. :( The Giants won't be able to stop the Pats... But, I think the 'Fins did a lot better this time around, actually being able to break Lawrence Maroney's momentum once in a while. And, Brady... I won't talk about Brady...

No duh.

Hey, everyone remember how I said Eli Manning is a mediocre QB who gets his ass saved by the pro bowl caliber of his receiving corpse, running game and defense?

And would you look at that, another game old Eli tries to throw away only to have his defense pull his ass out of the fire.

Dump Manning.

No they didn't. In fact, the Fins and the Jets have so far been the only teams bad enough for Maroney to run against them. In case you didn't notice, Maroney is shit.

ugh. gonna take me awhile to get over that one. they didn't just steal it, they raped, pillaged and set 'em on fire. might've been the worst i've seen GB play since i was a lil' kid.

What was the story there? Did Green Bay rest its starters? I was completely baffled by that. Odd part was that loss was highly unlikely, if Green Bay and Dallas lost, the Seahawks would have been sitting pretty... I fear what the post season may bring.

Any Given Sunday happened.

They were playing in bad conditions, the Bears D was emotionally charged for reasons no one can explain (it's over, guys), and Favre returned to last year's erratic form (not the first time he's done that this season, note).

It was an ugly loss, but it was also the kind of loss that happens, especially in the NFC.

PS: Seahawks needs to face Minnesota in the first round. Only way they won't go one-and-out.

I'd like to see the Packers go all the way, however torn I am between them and Seattle.

I agree, Minnesota would be a good match. I had heard of an even better match for Seattle but, I think a challenge is what they need. As many know Seattle possesses the ability to go all the way -and possibly the conviction as well. The question is, will they execute and be great again, or give it a lackluster shot... It touched me to see Sean make some runs again...

the momentum for the game was set in the first quarter. the bears took up 10 minutes with their first drive and scored a field goal. no big deal right? then the pack flub a punt, and give the ball right back to the bears inside the 20...another field goal. the pack score with an amazing run by Grant, and then the bears drive down and score. then ANOTHER flubbed punt. this happened for the entire fucking game, minus the "Grant scoring" part.

The Redskins game played out about the same as well in the first half.

My niners barely squeaked one out against the bucs, well at least we get another W in the columns.

Note, the Fins have a reason for that: Top linebacker (Thomas) is out for the season with MIGRAINES! WTF kind of reason is that to hold someone down on the DL?! Their defense is a brittle husk of its former self.

Migranes? Pfffttt Tom Brady smoked 15 cartons of cigarettes a day for two years, Tom Brady had seven different kinds of cancer and cured them all by flexing for 30 seconds!

Zach Thomas is certainly someone they miss. I actually think they put him on IR the same reason they're dumping veteran players; they're a franchise being rebuilt, and they need to shed all their old expensive weight.

He's been manhandled this year, though, needs to be careful with concussions and all.

PS:

Something is so odd about the NFC North:
10. Round-robin oddity in the NFC North

Another item of interest coming from the Packers-Bears game is that Chicago's win completes a bizarre series of home-and-home games among three-fourths of the old black-and-blue division.

This year, the Bears swept the Packers. The Packers swept the Vikings. And the Vikings swept the Bears.

Just for good measure, the Lions swept the Bears, too. And the Packers can sweep the Lions next week. Got all that? Good.

Tom Brady isn't Chuck Norris... Close, but not quite there yet. :|

Here we go, time for the Patriots to get a bloody nose!

Edit: Lousy nationalist Americans... I hate watching the nut jobs during the National Anthem.

Edit: The Giants are playing like the fate of the world depended on their victory!

yeah they are. A kickoff return on the pats? WHAT? The giants are actually playing impressively. seriously.

Hell yes, I'm glad Brady at least got his ass kicked a few times... to bad though...

That was an awesome game to watch, for a moment there it looked like the Giants was going to win. Here's hoping for 19-0.

*sigh*

I'm glad I don't live in the US, I hate all this irrational hating of a winner.

Me? I'm glad I could witness this kind of history. Undefeated, broke the TD pass record, broke the TD receiving record.

Nothing but greatness. I salute them.
