Fair enough. Personally I'd vote against it but I wouldn't care much if it was archived/Vatted.

Like I said, no reason to do this.

This is a discussion forum, and last I checked it's not reddit where comments get deleted for discussing negative aspects of games.

Yea and in case you two missed it, that's why having this forum is nice. People who are displeased can discuss the game. It's sort of the entire purpose of a discussion forum.

The problem with archiving F3 & F4 though is that NMA already has a bad image in the gaming community due to the more... brutal honesty style of critique. I'm sure sending both F3 & F4 to the Archives away from the other games would just aggravate outside people more. Like in a "we're too superior to have these two jokes around our games" kind of way.

Obviously both games have massive flaws but at the same time they have their fans, who vary from Korin types to "Bethestard" types who all would have varying reactions, a good chunk negative probably. Outside of others, I feel moving them would be pointless. Archiving them just moves them down the page away from the main series, it doesn't really do anything.

Anyway, I still feel both have some good aspects, as few as they may be (mostly appearance of the world, the quests are sometimes creative even if they follow a themepark vibe and if you turn your brain off, some fun nonsense can be had) to them compared to that "other game" which has none, not graphics, not gameplay, not characters, and not lore.

Like I said, just throwing the suggestion up in the air for the moment. Maybe we'll keep having things to say about Fallout 4. Or maybe we'll have stopped talking about it by next year. We'll see.

Well, if your efforts end up vatting 90% of my posts or archiving them, I don't see a reason to stick around.
 
Just to clarify, I don't want to archive or VAT Fallout 3. Regardless of anything else, it's been too long to do anything about that. What I meant was that if NMA were to vote in favor of archiving Fallout 3, in the same survey asking whether to archive Fallout 4, neither game would get archived.

Besides, there are plenty of other places on the site to vent about Bethesda.

Yea you know what? No one really uses the other Fallout forums either. Let's just vat those ENTIRE FORUMS as well. Why not just go ahead and vat the entire site while we're at it eh chums? That'll really stick it to them! /s

Don't worry, there is going to be a lot to talk about in the next podcast about Nuka World. Far Harbor was boring and inoffensive with the exception of Bethesda stealing one of the quest from the NV mod Autumn Leaves. This DLC however... Lord oh mighty I don't even know where to begin.

It's a suggestion. I don't get why everyone's uppity about this. NMA has done this before.

The only reason I stop by NMA now is to know I'm not alone with my disappointment for Fallout 3/4. Plus, the humorous comments by those in the Fallout 3 and 4 sections. I personally would be bummed out to see these threads go especially when no other site accepts any hate / free speech towards the games.

Look I personally don't see why they should be archived. We can debate canonicity all we want, but this is an entry into the Fallout franchise.

Well, I've broken a vow, as currently I'm communicating with someone I don't respect, I see no reason to have humour.
Are you going to be a broken record saying you don't see any reason to talk about something so you talk about not talking about something? Maybe you should make a thread about not talking about things in not the Fallout 4 section?

Suggested title: Open discussion about non-discussion.
"Hey guys, I'm Earth, lets talk about not talking about things on a forum. What things do you guys want to talk about not talking about?"
 
Is it considered ironic that this thread has been derailed so much by the discussion of vatting that this thread might itself end up being vatted? I'm terrible with this stuff...
