Which ones?
All of them.
Fallout 3 heavily contradicts Fallout 1 & 2.
Fallout tactics heavily contradicts fallout 1.
Fallout BOS heavily contradicts basic lore. Especially regarding the brotherhood.
Fallout 4 heavily contradicts all entries. (Including itself).
Yet you only consider the bible semi canon which is far more lore friendly than any of the games you hold to be 100% canon.

Seems like everything contradicts everything else. I don't give a shit if they are good games.

... So if you don't care why'd the fuck you ask for clarification? Only to throw out a completely unhelpful anti-response. Seems kind of childish if you ask me. Also canon isn't about whether or not the game is good Its about how well it holds up to previously established lore. None of the those games you listed do so particularly well.

And no. Not everything contradicts everything else. Fo1, Fo2 and Fo:NV mesh pretty well. Those other barely manage to mesh with themselves if that. Therefore I don't see how one cod consider them 100% canonical.

You consider Fallout 4 as a good game. Ergo, your opinion is invalid .

But seriously though, Fallout 4 is the game that contradicted its own lore so there are valid concerns on its place in canon. The fun thing about personal canons is that it is up to the beholder and many here have their views on canon. It makes it easier to filter out mediocre entries into existing franchises.

Some of you seem to be confusing "canon" with "games I like". Whether we like it or not bethesda's the one in charge of the series and are the ones who dictate what's canon or not.

Head-canon is our decision though. It's not up to Bethesda when it comes to what we choose to believe in, though I do like the majority of their decisions when it comes to choosing what isn't canon (making PoS non-canon and making Tactics semi-canon).

some people have problem with tactic that it doesnt feel like fallout because of the art style. it similiar to wasteland art style, the technology were based on 90s. Not just that, the calculator robot looks like straight from metal gear games.

what do you guys think?

Hence the phrase "personal fanon". It's more like ignoring reality and substituting with your own. It should not be used for objective classification or official materials, yes, but it is a lot more fun than watching something stagnate and being forced to constantly acknowledge this.

It's not like Bethesda is going to clam down on sites like this to erase notions of personal fanon now, are they?

Sad but true verge. But they only dictate 'official' canon. And well if I see 'official' canon as unworthy or contradicting classic canon... Then Beth's official canon isn't canon in my eyes.

Fanon is fun, because the player decides.

It might be stupid to others but in the end it makes a better world for the player.

Half Canon:
  • Fallout Tactics
Only a few small things Canon:
  • Fallout 3
  • Fallout 4
Not Canon at all:
  • Fallout BoS
  • Fallout Shelter

Also yes, "fanon", "headcanon", or "personal canon" is fun and all and I indulge in it too but I mean it's pretty much entirely fluid at that point so theres not really much point in trying to narrow it down. Personally there are some mods that I would probably consider well in fine in my "headcanon".
