It does indeed. In the interests of historical accuracy, I left the accumulated grime untouched.
My keyboard is far worse than that pad lool.

I may clean half with cotton buds and Dettol™. I will decide later whether to clean the left or right side. I may then massage the cleaned half with baby oil to keep it supple and nice and shiny.
