Political Spergatory or How I Learned To Love /pol

but suggesting Latinos are a voting monolith is provably false.
They practically might as well be. Cubans are an exception that outside of Florida are negligible.

If your faith in the honesty of the federal government of the United States of America is that secure then I have to admit I envy you a little.
Except that ... what you're talking about has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Let us ignore for a moment that Trump was supposed to be "the" government. Here is the thing. Go and look up how voting and the actual voting system works in the United States. Voting for the most part is a very local, transparent and decentralised affair - which makes it very stable. You have people from all different political parties involved in the process. From democrats and republicans. There is like almost zero chance that a party, any party, could rigg the ellection so much in their favour without any substantial fuck ups and evidence.

And this is where it becomes a conspiracy. Because the people which made serious claims that there was fraud and irregularities never managed to actually come up with any evidence - why do people keep forgetting here that plenty of Republicans also dismissed the claims of voter fraud? I mean republican judges and governours of which some have been even Trump supporters. In what world does that make any sense?

Now I do not know in what world some people live here but when you make allegations of such gravity then you have to deliver more than just some random guy from a street corner who says he saw someone throwing votes in a river or what ever.

People can obviously believe in what ever they want. But you could as well say that Bigfoot or green Aliens from Mars exist.

This isn't about the US government. This is about an instiution which has existed for nearly 200 years.

Hot take: "Voter fraud" is actually quite prevalent it just takes the form of misinformation, closing pol locations and gerrymandering. Any guesses as to who benefits from these the most, especially closing pol centers and gerrymandering?

Yeah ... funny how this whole Voter-Fraud story is a thing NOW, but for decades you had a lot of dirty tricks already in use ... of which they still are not voter fraud or outright manipulation. But still.

All of this can be explained in one word, just one word:

I liked all the pictures of people kind of standing around the Capitol confused as to what to do next because actually getting up and doing something wasn't part of "the plan".

Qboomers are all Ridin' with Biden now.

I'm waiting on our mutual Norwegian friend to show up here and let us know what's really going down before I form an opinion on Biden

What are the chances that Trumpism will make a rift in the Republicn party and harm their turnout numbers?

It could be argued this already happened in Georgia. It turns out that telling your base that every American election is rigged by Venezuela and China colluding with ballot machine manufacturers is not a good way to mobilize them to vote.

Shit, I forgot all about that guy.

When the planets align under the blood Moon above the ruins Etn'ah, the portents are read at the stroke of Zo'ghr Nah while the harmony of silence reaches it's zenith, then Trump will make his move.

Something along those lines I guess.
