Pope Resigns, World Cares (Not)

Like a NDE person once said: "Its easy to be an atheist when youre young and/or successful, but its very hard to be an atheist when youre laying on your deathbed".

That's honestly rather simplistic and dumb.

So, the NDE crowd proved that their experience wasn't just the effect of their brain shutting down from hypoxia?

Pretty much. In time you´ll know whats what, dont worry.

New Pope.

Just saw it on the news the white smoke has come out of the chimney.

The new pope's a badass named Franz, who comes to clean shit out. With fire.

Nah, but seriously, it's yet another conservative, except he apparently doesn't like bling as much as other popes and is Argentinian.

Everything ok with the Pope being argentine, but... Berogoglio? Seriously? :o

You would understand if you were argentine.

Hope he doesn't shame us too much.

doesn't like bling

In Argentina, powerful people who "don't like bling" are usually the worst and use that as a cheap way to make themselves look better.

Even if Bergoglio "doesn't like bling", he's still a Church man who had ties with the latests dicatorship which killed thousands of people, and this new place in the Vatican will not make him a better guy at all, I am sure.

But yeah a person who lacks "bling" seems to always look nicer than a person who lacks the blood of others on his hands.

Shame us?

The church is the only that have to be ashame

For those unfamiliar with the subject, he worked with the dictatorship in Argentina

"Relations with the Argentine government

Critics have accused him of ignoring the plight of victims during the country’s military dictatorship from 1976-1983, despite victims and their relatives relating first-hand accounts of torture, death and kidnappings to the priests he supervised as leader of the Jesuit Order.[27]

On 15 April 2005, a human rights lawyer filed a criminal complaint against Bergoglio, as superior in the Society of Jesus of Argentina, accusing him of involvement in the kidnapping by the Navy in May 1976 (during the military dictatorship) of two Jesuit priests.[28] The priests, Orlando Yorio and Francisco Jalics, were found alive five months later, drugged and semi-nude. Yorio accused Bergoglio of effectively handing them over to the death squads by declining to tell the regime that he endorsed their work. Jalics refused to discuss it after moving into seclusion in a German monastery.[29] Horacio Verbitsky, an Argentine investigative journalist and author, wrote a book about this and other related events titled El Silencio: de Paulo VI a Bergoglio: las relaciones secretas de la Iglesia con la ESMA.[30]".

Where is the faith?

Where is the love?
