PS4 mod support update

And that's all I would ask for. If they came out and said "we don't want to allow modding on our console" they I wouldn't like that idea, but I wouldn't complain because it's their decision.
You are not alone here but since it happend only this late, really makes you think what actually happend with agreement and what skeletons bethesda are hiding in the closet , epsecially after all this mod hype.

PC: 5 year old game that looks great with ENB $60.00 Plays well with mods that fix memory issues.
PC: Remaster that will look better with ENB $0.00 Will need mods to cross over to fix memory issues.
Total cost: $60.00

PS3: Plays like poop, $60.00 I think.
PS4: No remaster.
Total cost: $60.00

XBox 360: Plays like poop, $60.00 I think.
XBox One: Probably play like poop because memory fixes usually require SKSE, $60.00
Total cost: $120

Well, it seems to me that the ones that think they are winning are actually losing. It is sort of funny though seeing someone laugh at someone else for not being able to be gouged, but hey, what do I know.

I guess any company where a Trump is on the board of directors is a miserable company indeed.
It could be worse. A Clinton could be on the board of directors and those of us who are very vocal of our criticism of Fallout 4, Bethesda and Zenimax would have found ourselves dead from a mysterious barbell incident. :V
Back on topic, can anyone really blame Sony for this. Sure Sony can be pretty sleazy just like any another corporation but Bethesda has kinda screwed Sony over in the past with Skyrim for the PS3, which, if I recall, Sony ended up taking most of the heat for while Bethesda pretty much got off Scott free. To me it just seems like Bethesda wants to burn whatever left of the bridge they have with Sony while blaming Sony for burning said bridge.

Why is everying even bothering with remasters ? It seems point less and a waste of time. There are actauly some remaster coming out one I can think of is mount and blade war band. There is going to be realesed on xboxone /ps4 for only some like £15 i think. But yeah that actually desevers a remaster for xbox one/ps4. Remastering a old computer game ect is worth it but remastering ps3/xbox360 game for the xboxone/PS4 is completely stupid and a massive waste of time. I know everyones into grahpics but i'm still waiting for well like a well written / intresting game ?

The only remaster I care about is Shenmue 1&2.
That seriously needs to get done.

Its a shame Bethesda comes out looking clean. Lol. Sonys just afraid of boogie hackers. I would too . Im waiting for everything too be perfect before i get mod pour my xbox.
Damn Sony, bethesdas clone army gon have you by the balls if you dont make light steps from here on. Word

Because it's a virtually effortless cash grab that they know can't do anything but pay off because they know that a big enough portion of their fan base is dumb enough to shell out another 60 bucks for the same game they already own, sight unseen.

Looking at the whole thing, it looks like Bethesda is shifting the full blame to Sony. I am aware that Sony may not be entirely innocent but this comes off more like shifting liability over to Sony rather than acknowledging what problems there is to console modding (edit: and promising too much). I do hope that Sony does not get too much undeserved flak or at least, people actually start speculating Bethesda's actual role in all this.

where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition.
Now this quote is rather glaring to me. It's as if Bethesda is feigning a lack of awareness that modding on consoles will be limited when compared to PC modding, lest we forget the mod thefts and console games being broken by incompatible mods being pirated over to Bethesda.net. The two areas are far too different (full disclosure: I'm not well-versed in modding but I am faintly aware of technical issues that prevents console modding from being as extensive as PC modding).

In the case of Skyrim, it was bad enough that they had to bring in a team from Sony to rewrite practically all of the code to make the game even sort of playable on the PS3, and that didn't happen until a year or more after release (personally, I suspect the only reason they even bothered was because the legal department started making noise that PS3 players might have legitimate grounds for a class-action lawsuit if they continued to ignore the problem). And I think that whole episode was where the apparent bad blood between both companies really started to boil over.
